    The location of the hotel is convenient to travellers. The price is reasonable.

    The smell of smoke was still found in the non-smoking room. The computer / internet facility is suggested.

    Great location. Charming building

    Room next to very noisy air conditioners on roof. No iron in room; when requested did not arrive for 12 hours. Scheduled wake-up call did not happen.

    Central, clean.

    Very poky little room with sloping ceiling - would have been livid if I had paid their rack rate for this. Parking cost £6.50 and was a 5 minute walk away.

    Excellent standard of room furniture.

    Surface dust on desk, side tables. - Should have been cleaned before giving us the room. Website told us parking available at local NCP at £6.50 but be warned there are two local NCP car parks. Make sure you park in the correct one or pay 12.00 parking charge.

    Pleasant staff and hotel, clean

    Difficult to find the hotel because address given as 10 does not fit with the numbering on the road, should be about 80. Car parking expensive in NCP car park

    The room was almost too big, and with hardwood floors it felt larger and less comfortable.

    Good location near train, bus, destinations. Room well furnished. Good storage. Very helpful staff.

    Window was open and we didn't realize there was air conditioning until we were checking out. This was probably our mistake, but we assumed since the window was open that it didn't have any since most small hotels and b&b's don't in UK.

    Staff were very helpful and efficient good shower breakfast

    dirty windows, dirty walls in room, no spare pillows. Not double glazed and very noisy until 3a.m. outside so not too much sleep. The hotel is very hard to find and access the reception. Entrance lobby shabby - I certainly did not think the room was value for money at £215 per night. I will not stay there again

    excellent central location,contemporary spacious furnished rooms, good food,excellent customer service (vouchers and wine in room on arrival) helpful and happy staff makes staying at hotel a pleasure.

    slighty noisy due to bars not a problem to us but might be to families with children

    Room very comfortable and position of hotel

    Breakfast service on the morning of our stay was chaotic.A high number of guests were staying due to the Take That concert, but the management did not appear to make any arrangements for the number of guests present. Tables were not cleared ,food was short and plates were not available. After complaints from guests, every manager seemed to appear to help out.

    The bed was a good size, and the bathroom was clean.

    I had requested non-feather filled pillows and was assured this was met - it wasn't, and when I noticed this late that evening I was felt to be a nuisance asking for them to be replaced. The TV handset didn't work, the window could not be closed fully which meant we were kept awake by the street noise with no offer to change room etc. Room service took over an hour for 2 sandwiches, crips and a pizza, and the breakfast was sparse with most items used up by 9.30 am - many guests complained about this. I requested a twin and got a double room.

    Staff were extremely helpful and organised. Due to us having arrived early in the morning, we were able to leave our luggage with them in a safe place until we were able to check-in. The same thing on our day of departure, we were able to leave our luggage again until we were ready to go home.

    The staff in the breakfast room was friendly and nice.

    The reception staff was quite impolite. The cleaness of the hotel was not `high standard´. There were only lifts (i.e. no stairs) to get in and out of the hotel.

    Comfortable and tidy, close to station and courts where I worked. Wide variety of restaurants close by for dinner.

    Slight smell in shower caused (??) by non working extractor fan. Breafast menu did not really accord with what was on offer. For example, I chose a tea which was said to be available which was not.

    OVERALL MY PARENTS ENJOYED THEIR STAY MOSTLY AS THE HOTEL WAS IDEALLY SITUATED

    UNFORTUNATLY MY ELDERLY PARENTS WERE GIVEN A FIFTH FLOOR ROOM AND BY PICTURES OF THEIR ROOM I WAS QUITE UNHAPPY THAT THEY COULD NOT GET TO THEIR BED COMFORTABLY, ONLY SIDEWAYS!, NOT AT ALL HOW THE ROOMS WERE DISPLAYED ON THE WEBSITE

    breakfast service was a bit odd, no proper organisation of staff coffee and toast were offered but very slow coming ( food was good however!!) the directions on the booking form , from the railway station are not good we walked passed the hotel twice!

    Location was excellent and the room was imaculate, also of a high standard.

    NCP car park was quite expensive a bit of discount negotiated by the hotel would not have gone amiss.

    The design of the hotel was very chic and modern. The room and the hotel looked exactly like the photographs used to advertise it. Staff were always available and polite. The quality of the food was good.

    The lift was out of order during our stay and we were on the seventh floor - no attempt was made to offer us another room. They did offer to carry our luggage. The heating had been set to high on our first night so the room was far too hot, you are able to turn this down though. The hotel is excellently located for Cardiff City Centre, unfortunately Cardiff City Centre is over run by drunken students at the weekend who are noisy. Although the aesthetics of the hotel were excellent the quality of the fixtures and fittings were more Ikea than luxury modern hotel.

    comfortable bedroom, great location

    when we got to our room and went to use the bathroom, the toilet had not been cleaned at all. It was extremely dirty, either the sewage pipe had blocked or it just had not been cleaned in general, it was extremely disturbing and disgusting. Lack of signage to the 4th floor, hotel is a bit like a maze. Breakfast room, not very welcoming, food selection was limited
