    the owner was very friendly and breakfast very good

    the room was quite dark as it had a wall close by the window no view at all,the shower was very small hardly room to move and nowhere to put shower gel etc.

    Helpful friendly service. Good breakfast as long as you stick to the quoted options.

    limited parking with access restricted by a wall. breakfast time 8:30 - 9:00 a bit short and inflexible. location in Lake midway between Shanklin and Sandown not ideal.

    It was really an nice clean property and the landlords were really good human being.

    Well breakfast was bit a let down but still not that bad.

    room 10 with double room shower holder broken could not move shower head had to have it one height and kettle in room dirty. room 14 no pillow case on pillows, sink was wobbly not fixed to wall when went to check in no-one was around had to wait over 10 mins for someone to apear

    Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast included in room price was delicious, had a good variety of food available and served quickly. Facilities were all very clean and comfortable.

    Breakfast timings were only from 0830 - 0900. Would be better if available longer.

    "I booked this hotel in relatively short notice and overall I am happy with the service provided. Before booking I would have liked to see some more pictures of the property especially the surrounding area. Also would have liked some more information about the size of the hotel and facilities including evening meals and bars etc. The hotel had a small selfservice bar but it was locked by 10:30 pm.     Excellent size bed room and ensuite. Very clean Hotel. All The staff were very friendly and extended a warm welcome. Full English Breakfast was superb.

More than one nights stay would not be a good idea.The room above had very loose floorboards so we could hear every movement also every time someone went to the tolilet we heard them so we were kept awake till gone midnight so were the children we would not stay there again."     "The hotel has a great location in Lake between Shanklin and Sandown. A good base for exploring the island for those who have not been to the Isle of Wight before. Very easily reached by rail from the ferry port at Ryde too. A good, clean hotel with friendly staff and good food. Ideal for a couple of nights away." (3305028090)

    The owenrs were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.

    The furniture in the bedroom was a little tired, and the shower head bracket was broken. Small things that did not spoil the enjoyment of our stay.

    It was on the main road so there was a lot of traffic. The pluming and the floorboards need looking at as they were quite noisy

    "I chose the hotel because it was close to where I wanted and had off street parking.I was not very happy therefore when requested to vacate the car park within 5 minutes of my arrival in favour of an old coach although an apology was given." (3304311134)
