    Goed en betaalbaar hotel bijna midden in het centrum.

    Eten niet bijzonder goed. Een avond mochten we het restaurant niet gebruiken I.v.m. besloten feest. Heel veel gasten klaagden daar over, we mochten alleen via een zijingang naar onze kamer.

    Central location, though a bit hard to access by car. Friendly and helpful staff in reception and breakfast room. OK room.

    No hot water sunday morning, very hard to get hot water saturday morning. Room was not cleaned between saturday. Not ideal when travelling by car.

    The hotel was in an excellent location. Staff were friendly and eager to help.

    Was very disappointed that when we first checked in, we were not told that the bar and restaurant would be unavailble due to a fashion show that was happening that evening. This meant we were forced to go out and could not even enjoy a drink after. Also, very disappointed with our room. The side of the hotel we stayed in was directly opposite a night club and as a result, had an appalling night and hardly any sleep.

    Taxi wasnt ordered on last morning. Deposit of £50 per night not made clear on website implied £50 per stay. Bar very dark impossible to read newspaper at 6pm unless by window.

    Very friendly staff as you would expect in Liverpool. Good restaurant.

    Noisy at times at night as you would expect in a city center, they are not allowed to fit double glazing as it is a listed building.

    Good location, clean rooms, breakfast good

    Shower drain blocked, could have shower on for 30 seconds then had to wait a minute to drain before continuing cycle! Room service order not fulfilled correctly TV remote batteries were flat No newspaper on final day Reception advised me not to use the lift! (?)

    "Lovely hotel in a very central location - great for being close to everything but can be quite noisy. Breakfast was nice, although the vegetarian was very small (full english minus meat, no extras) and they tidy away the buffet very promptly! Everything else was good: huge bed, free internet in the rooms, pleasant staff, good security (doorman and key-card access to stairs)." (97439683)

    Fantastic location, lovely rooms, mostly pleasant staff

    Windows were sealed shut with a vent that could not be closed. This made it very noisy at night but difficult to aerate in the days. The cleaners "compensated" by spraying lots of air-freshener which was quite sickening.

    The reception staff was very helpful and polite. The room was large and quite nice. Good location.

    We only had the cold breakfast and it could have been better. Why not add some cheese and some nice bread together with the jam and toast.

    "The rooms were basic but we enjoyed out stay on the whole. Would be tempted to try the Premier Inn next time as it looked to be in a quieter location, though still central and apparently quite a bit cheaper. Definatly wouldn,t want to stay here with kids." (97513093)

    Location was ideal for us on this occasion. Nice breakfast and the holtel bar was very good. Staff were very friendly and polite. Manager did attend straight away when we had a problem.

    We did expect it to be noisy due to the location but we wern't prepared for just how noisy it would be on Satrurday night. I didn't get to sleep until about 4.30am and that was despite a night out in Liverpool ourselves. Double glazing would have been of great benefit. One of the casters on the bed was missing when we arrived which meant that the bed was sloping to one side and parted in the middle when sat on. The hotel manager came straight away with a repalacement part however, it only solved the problem temporarily as it came out several times during the two nights we were there. We didn't report it furthur as we were only there two nights so just kept lifting the bed and putting it back in ourselves. It was an inconvenience which had we been there for longer I am sure would have been sorted out.

    "Our stay at the hotel was fine apart from the noise at night till all hours which made it hard to sleep. Also we were asked for a depoist of £50 soon as we booked in. which i thought was a bit outragous. it would be hard to pay this if you werent expecting it. The staff at the hotel were lovely apart from the night porter." (97523819)

    It was clean and in easy reach of all the city sites and shopping areas

    It was very noisy, and didnt stop till the early hours of the morning.

    "Our overall stay was amazing, the bed was so comfy!...I would have liked to know that the room did not have a bath before I came because the shower isnt that romantic as a bath, this is proberly one of the reasons I would not choose this hotel if I was to stay with my partener. But with friends it is a definate yes!" (97968931)

    The staff where very friendly ,customer service very efficent. The bed room was displayed nicely with luxury cusions and silk bed cover. Breakfast was deliscious full endglish in a lovely decorated resturant and to top it off the breakfast staff provided excellent customer service. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

    It's been really uncomfortable using the sink that has seperate taps for cold and hot water. TV was not working and the bed sheet had spots on it.

    "Initialy we were given a room that was rather cramped, dark and stuffy. The Shower cubicle door was broken. However we were given another room straight away which was nice and bright. The pillows were shot and really do need replacing woke up with a headache and stiffneck. Every thing else was fine." (97070429)
