    The hotel was close to all amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel offered a very good buffet breakfast and this was served by very friendly staff.

    Our room could have been better - the walls suffered slightly from damp. There must have been a problem at sometime from a leak from the shower and this had caused damp spreading to the bedroom.

    "ideal situation for station, visitor info centre, shops, restaurants and tourist spots. Plane trees provided wonderful shade." (3304460856)

    near to station and local amenity's, centre for everything. The rooms were clean and bed comfortable.

    breakfast was called full english which was in reality continental which we felt was expensive compared to the local restaurants. We could have had a full english or irish at the restaurant under the hotel for less than we paid in the hotel for a drink and croissants. We were unfortunate to have a neighbour screaming at 3.00am waking us up!

    Great location.

    There was a bad odour in the building, and the room was very humid even though the weather was perfect outside. The sheets always felt moist.

    The staff is friendly and it's easy to go, just 5 to 10 minutes from trains station.

    "The Hotel was within walking distance of the station and walking distance of both the shopping, restaurants and the Pope's Palace ( The main tourist attraction in Avignon). The surrounding area itself felt safe. There was an excellent Patisserie just across the road. The Hotel provided us with good basic accommodation for a reasonable price however if you were wanting to feel pampered or in luxurious accommodation this would not be the place for you." (2644068)

    It was basic but clean and the room was a reasonable size. There was no air conditioning which i would imagine in the summer months may prove uncomfortable, but in late september it was not an issue. The staff were very friendly and accommodating

    Some elements of decor could be improved e.g. the bathrooms , although clean were not particularly new.

    "We enjoyed our five-day stay there and appreciated the central position. The patron and his assistants were always friendly and interested in our activities as we went to and fro." (2861599)

    The staff were very friendly and helpful. The position was excellent and the bed was comfortable.

    The en suite shower/loo was rather smelly (drains). The lift was out of order (we had 58 stairs to climb to our room) and there was no mention of its being repaired!

    "j'aurais aimé savoir que la chambre et les sanitaires necessitaient un vrai sérieux lifting, que le quartier est terriblement bruyant, que l'isolation phonique est inexistante entre les chambres et qu'à partir de 22h30 l'ascenseur est inutilisable même pour le 4° etage!" (2199165)

    extrêmement bruyant pendant les heures normales de sommeil: karaoke, voisins,véhicules d'entretien dans la rue.

    "Very well located,5 minute walk from Avignon central station, and 5 minutes from the town centre. Very handy to some bars, cafes and the tourism office. Room was small, but tidy. As expected, the breakfast was expensive for what you get, but this seems to be standard for anywhere in France. Overall, for a 2 star hotel it was a good deal, and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Avignon." (2530039)
