    "Very good and I would use again" (108808054)

    Friendliness of staff, most grateful for the little extra in agreeing that I could leave my car in the hotel car park whilst attending the meeting elsewhere - it saved problems seeking alternative parking and was that little bit extra that makes the difference.

    Internet booking was slightly comfusing as to whether the breakfast was included in the overall price. Three of us read it and outcome was two to one that it was. Lucky I checked by phone to clarify prior to arrival.

    Excellent facilities

    Missed breakfast by 10mins on the Friday morning - not happy after paying £8.00 and seeing breakfast served to latecomers on the Saturday. Traffic noise in room - 526

    Great Staff, friendly and helpful. Great food in the restaurant, well cooked and well presented. Room clean and spacious, we requested "high up as possible" and got 5th floor which was great. Free parking which is getting rare in Cardiff hotels.

    Where the hotel is situated is very noisy with the traffic noise and steelworks so not for light sleepers. Personally we found the bed rock hard and very uncomfortable. We know this is a personal preference but there really was no "give" in the mattress at all. Maybe it was new!

    Clean, bright, and comfortable. Had nice amenities in the room (coffee/tea, biscuits, shampoo, iron). Staff at desk answered all of our questions and let us know about deals (such as breakfast costing 8 GBP at checkin but 12 GBP in the morning if not purchased).

    Not the most pedestrian-friendly area immediately around the hotel. Also the internet in the room (although free) can be a bit tricky to use because there is no mouse for the computer/TV just a button on the keyboard. It works, but was onerous.

    Very convenient parking.Easy walk to bay area with museums, Millenium Centre, lots of restaurants. Very friendly reception staff. Clean well-equipped room. Good, full English breakfast.

    Excellent location and fantastic in house food

    Price booked on internet was 10 pounds per night cheaper but did not register at check-in so had to produce internet reciept to prove point after disagreeing with check in assistant

    "We travel to Cardiff at least twice a year and would not hesitate to stay at the Future Inn again. As well as the cleanliness and the helpfulness of the staff we found Cardiff Bay to be an excellent location, as well as value for money." (107774163)

    Our room was exactly as we ordered and were very pleased with the standard of it - we have already recommended to several friends and family

    There was only one bad point of our whole weekend and that was the different cost of the same drinks on the Saturday night. They varied from £6 to £7.50.

    Limited food available after 10.30pm. This should be extended to accomadate guests attending concerts, events etc. The vending machine was empty!

    "We had a good stay at the hotel. Better than I expected for a three star. I was happy with the attitude and helpfulness of the staff who all seemed quite enthusiastic and cheery. The room was clean. The bed may have been slightly hard but that is just personal choice." (107513693)

    Clean and modern foyer and bar. Friendly front desk staff. Spacious room with good facilities for a 3 star hotel.

    The bath fitting was slightly confusing, turning the hot water on when in the bath caused the shower to start running. No shower cap! Limited room service menu.

    The booking and check in process easy and efficient. The twin room with 2 queen size beds was very clean,warm and comfortable, overall standard of room and hotel facilities were excellent.Good value.

    The restaurant service not very efficient and meals and drinks rather expensive,compared to other restaurants nearby.Breakfast adequate.

    Staff were very pleasent and helpful and we enjoyed our meals in the hotel.A very pleasent receptionist rang a fortnight before the booking to confirm that we still required the rooms which was helpful to speak to someone at the hotel having booked on line and not stayed there before.

    Found the bedroom on the chilly side and difficult to increase the temprature.

    Clean, tidy, room and hotel, comfortable bed, pleasant staff, great location near the Bay and its facilities, safe parking, not much traffic or guest noise.

    Easy to get to if you programme Tom Tom to arrive at the Pizza Hut entrance

    my only criticism is that each morning the chamber maids slammed each door of the room they were cleaning about 6 times each!

    "very pleased with out stay, the bar staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful" (108081581)

    loved the tele with the free internet keyboard facility and the music on it

    very noisy traffic outside that made it impossible to open the window at night. Would have liked to have made full use of the air con in the room but was not aware the room had any until too late. The loud slamming of doors awoke us very early in the morning.

    very clean comfortable room, friendly staff,was not intimidated by being a woman alone.

    Only one very minor point. I do love fried eggs for breakfast and I dont particularly like scrambled eggs. As I only have bacon and eggs it would have been nice to have had fried eggs.

    Clean rooms and excellent bar area with reasonable prices. Taxi to centre of town good value and quick response. Staff friendly, beds and bed linen very good. Powerful shower, good Computer media centre in room.

    Free internet in room via tv. Bottle of water in room. Reasonably priced vending machines also available. Lovely bathroom. Good location.

    Large parties of hen/stag night take over bar early evening.

    The rooms were a good size with good facilities

    We found the rooms noisey of road trafficand human traffic inside the building. We were also moved on the second night due to a faulty door lock, but we were not imformed until we arrived back late on the second evening when we tried to gain access to our room and I questioned this at reception, all our personal belongings had been moved even thought a mobile number had been left when checking in. we also found breakfast to be expensive for 2 small children
