    No full length mirror in the room no drawers only a small space to hang clothes,no wardrobe breakfast very expensive for those who only want a small breakfast such as a bowl of cereal and pot of tea

    The accommodation was clean and tidy. Plenty of parking. There was a good selection of foods available for breakfast. All the staff were very polite and made us feel very welcome, especially the check-in/check-out staff.

    "When booking I was not offered the option of a smoking or non-smoking room. At check-in, again I was not offered this option although i must say the staff member was bright, bubbly & very efficient. Upon opening the room (which was very nice and clean) door we were greeted by the most disgusting / nauseus smell of stale smoke imagineable. We were going to a show and had a taxi waitng so just accepted the situation rather than taking the matter up at reception. But overall I am left very dissapointed with an otherwise pleasent stay ruined by something so easy to correct." (97886174)

    "Hotel was very clean and tidy - bedrooms were functional rather than plush but well up to standard for the money being charged. Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast better than I was expecting." (97674296)

    Clean and functional. Bed was very comfortable.

    Unfortunately had to complain about the noise created by other guests! However, the staff dealt with our complaint within minutes!

    "The staff look and behave as though they are so bored that they can barely keep their eyes open. I don't expect to be greeted like a long lost friend or conquering hero, but when someone prefaces their every utterance with a huge sigh and won't make eye contact whilst fiddling with her hair, you do begin to wonder if they are best suited to a customer facing role."     Comfortable bed, good facilities,staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful.

    Room looked out onto car park and hotel entrance as was on same level,it was a dark room so you needed the lights on which in turn meant the curtains had to be closed for privacy as anyone entering the hotel could see in.

    "The hotel suited the purpose for which I was visiting Manchester but at the prices paid I did not feel it was value for money. Had the hotel stratgic managers given more thought to the purpose that many of the guests were staying at the hotel, a concert at the Manchester City FC Stadium, then I believe they could have greatly improved the quality of service provided."     It was clean, secure, the staff were in the main friendly and helpful.

    Its location was remote and bascically located on an industrial park.

    the hotel was lovely and clean and very modern ,the staff were friendly and made my six year old grandson feel special

    "Whilst we were also attending a well publicised local event - it would have been nice to have know that there was a 'bulk' party booking - this in turn caused nightmares during breakfast with school like queues and rowdiness in the bar which we found ourselves having to avoid in the late afternoon due to trouble."     The staff were brilliant, friendly & accomadating. We were lucky that we were able to check in so early, others werent so lucky. The parking was free but limited.

    My initial dislike was that the cost of the room, which was expensive, did not include breakfast.

    "As we were attending a function at the Sports City complex this hotel was convenient to that location, there was a direct phone link to a local taxi company located in the foyer, this made our journey to and from the venue easy.     the best part of the room was the bed. it was extremley comfortable. most beds in hotels arent but this was one was lovely. the room was vey clean.

    "The rooms really are of a good quality. There were some refurbishment works being undertaken during my stay but apart from the appearance of the corridor, these did not impede upon my stay in any way. The staff are excellent at this hotel and I felt perfectly comfortable dining alone and using the hotel in general as a female solo traveller." (99844226)

    The staff were excellent. Really nice room, quiet hotel despite it being very full. Don't be put off by the external appearance of the hotel.

    The parking doesn't feel very safe simply due to the area. Having said that, the duty manager very kindly moved my car for me into the car park whilst I was dining, as I had had to park on the road as the car park had been full upon my arrival.

    "The hotel generally served the purpose of our 3 day stay in Manchester well. We would be perfectly happy to stay there again. We travelled by train from Oxford and so the quick bus route to and from the hotel into the city centre was appreciated. Whilst the hotel is in a part of the city undergoing regeneration, it appears functional in an unfussy way, comfortable and clean." (3304925544)

    Air conditioning was not working first night; intstructions not clear re opening window wider (finally discovered how to do this). Restaurant - instant coffee, need for filter coffee. Price of daily special was high, esp. as no veg other than potato included (chicken in bacon dish - and was the chicken in that dish 'real' or reconstituted?). Fixed price for breakfast too high, given that you might not want full breakfast on every day of your stay.
