    Nice entrance hallway.

    Room was very basic with not much in the way of toliteries and what tolitries there was where very cheap. Staff at the bar where less than friendly.

    Facilities, convenience to attractions, helpfulness, room standards, bar and reception staff

    Sunday carvery - personally felt it could have been better for the price. Food was not particularily good and a few of the staff (2) were not that plesant. Maybe it's because I train customer services that I expect higher standards.

    We got a really nice feel as soon as we arrived at reception.We found all the staff very friendly and very professional.

    the food was lovely and the staff were very pleasant and it is very handy for walking around the city

    was very disappointed in the rooms very basic and the bathroom looked like it had been half painted. Not what you would expect for a 4 star hotel more like a 2 star

    clean, convenient, courteous, helpful pool, gym, parking small things like the complimentary small jug fresh milk for the coffees

    None really - i will use this hotel if ever i visit Derry again, and will strongly recommend it

    "Ordered breakfast to the room. It was late, cold and the wrong order. Dirty glasses. One glass had lipstick and the other had what looked like sick on it. Room was just ok. The website said it was an executive room with a mini bar and there was no mini bar. The room and the rest of the hotel looked clean." (97100979)

    Good view in some of the rooms.

    Only stayed for one night so the thing i disliked the most was the breakfast.

    "The hotel location is excellent, close to places of interest. The rooms are very modern and functional (I liked the desk) but also very comfortable. The underground parking was a bonus, with lift service for the luggage, but there is a large and very cheap car park next to the hotel if the underground parking is full. The informal dining area provided good food and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The buffet breakfast was very good. We would definitely use this hotel again" (99082190)

    Very central location, close to old town. Marvellous views of the River Foyle.

    The location was excellent.

    "A very comfortable and well-appointed hotel, with a fine central riverside location. Staff have been friendly and helpful on both the recent occasions I've stayed at the City. I appreciated the generous size of the dinner portions in the restaurant, although the service was perhaps a touch on the slow side and some of the vegetables more than a touch undercooked!"     "The exterior appearance of the hotel belies the welcome within. The staff were all helpful, friendly and cheerful. Our room was very clean and smart with a lovely over the river. The room was very comfortable but the bed was rather small for two tall people. The cooked breakfast was average, but the range of alternatives available at the buffet more than made up for it. If I was visiting the city again, I would definitely consider this hotel." (99315965)

    "Its in a great location very close to everything in the city, the hotel itself is fab and by far the nicest i have ever visited, buffet breakfast in the morning is overwhelming there is so much choice!" (99099636)

    the lobby could be quite smoky in the evenings but the smoking ban is coming in soon so that will end.

    The panormaic view up an ddown the Foyle from our 6th floor room was absolutely breathtaking

    limited hotel car parking spaces although there are plenty of public car park spaces in very close proximity

    "Had an excellent stay in a very good position in the city center. We were on a special weekend package and were a little unsure what was included i.e. dinner for 1 or 2 people.     "The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and clean. With tea and coffee making equipment in the rooms and satalite as well as terrestial tv you could relax and unwind before hitting the nightspots.     Staff were quite good

    The state of the internal decor leaves a lot to be desired. The state of the carpets in the landings & hall way were disgusting and lookek as they had not being shampooded since installation
