    bonne chambre, correcte,équipements corrects

    manque d'infos pour rentrer la nuit,le resto n'étant pas encore ouvert,nous avons diné en ville; à notre retour la porte était fermée;22h15....porte close!

    "We arrived at 4pm to check in. The door was locked and a notice (in French only) stated that if we wanted to check in before 6pm then we needed to call the phone number indicated. The owner arrived about 10 minutes after our phone call to let us in. The bedrooms where clean but the lighting was poor (either flourescent or side light). The decor is in need of a major update. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant served good local food." (99807916)

    The decor was old and one of the bathrooms was very shabby.

    The room and facilities were adequate for my needs. The resturaunt served excellent meals at a descent price. The staff was always willing to accomodate my requests. Being a non French speaking tourist was not a problem.

    In the U.S., all rooms have A/C. I have yet to find it in France, however I'm told that it is available at much higher prices. Along with this their are amenities that I don't need and wish not to pay for. So, the A/C issue is not really huge. I visited France to ride my bicycle, and did just that. The Citodel de Savoie was very adequate for me.

    "we liked the fact that it was family run and the owner was very friendly providing snacks at the bar and was very accommodating when we needed to book a room for our children on our final nights stay.The key was left conveniently as we were late back from courcheval and the bar and reception were closed. The owners also spoke excellent English, French and Dutch." (3304158177)

    It had a very high standard of cleanliness. It was quiet and the service we received was excellent.
