    "The summary does a good job. A delight to stay here. Free Wifi, car parking, prices for food and beer were very reasonable. I was made to feel very welcome. Can't comment on the breakfast though as I didn't partake, but judging from the evening meal and the reviews this place has I'd be surprised if it wasn't good. I stay in hotels more nights than I'd care to count, but this hotel is one that sticks out as being superb. Would definitely come here again." (108223934)

    Excellent position for visits to other Cotswolds places of interest. Staff friendly and helpful, Highland Room was impressive. Continental breakfast very adequate with good choice of cereals/fruit/cheese/ham.

    Reasonably priced and comfortable

    Our room was really quite small and would not have been suitable had we been carrying anything but a small overnight bag. The toilet/ shower room was also very cramped and to many people would have been very difficult to use.

    The location was excellent and the staff very friendly and efficent. Restaurant superb.

    Quality of the plumbing somewhat dubious and hot water hit and miss.

    Lots of character and very comfortable room. The rate was very reasonable too.

    No hot water in the en suite wash hand basin. Shower was great though! Also thought the food and drink a little pricey!

    "We had slight trouble finding the Inn because the external sign emphasises WINE & SAUSAGE rather than White Hart Inn. All was forgiven, however, when we found the dining-room and met the Wines and Sausages in question - they are to die for. There is a small car park behind the Inn which we would have used if we had known about it in advance. This establishment is going to be a huge succes, so book soon to be sure of getting in."     Good, traditional English Inn. Clean, tidy and well organised. Agreeable atmosphere.

    The bathroom was a little cramped.

    "We both enjoyed our stay, the accomadation was comfortable, the parking area was limited but the hotels proximity to the centre of town was good, this was not evident from the website." (99990107)

    The room was adequate,the resturant was good, the wine list was excellent, the staff were friendly and efficient.

    First impression when driving into the car park was not good, exterior of the hotel in need of some attention.

    i like the room and the building as it was traditional, which i like. the food was nice although we only had breakfast there.

    i used to work in a 3 star hotel and i would expect somethings to be cleaned which werent, such as mirrors and tiles. also when we arried the bin had not been empited from the last guests

    As the Hotel re-opened following a refurbishment just as we were arriving i have to say they did an amazing job. if they do that when they are under pressure their service will be exemplary when that sort off pressure is off.

    The White Hart is a country Inn/Hotel. If you are expecting London quality then you will be staying at the wrong Hotel. My Wife and I did not find anything wrong or to complain about.

    "A lovely atmosphere and a great place to chill out.Beautiful; walks in the surrounding area too. The main 'hostess' was absolutely charming and nothing was too much trouble.     Quiet room, back of building.comfortable and adequate in size.Good location for local walking and easy driving to Cheltenham and Cotswolds.

    The bar area was the uncomfortable and lacking any atmosphere .The exterior looks old and inviting like most of the pubs in this area so it was very disappointing to find the interior like this.It usually had quite a few patrons,so each to his own.

    The location, and swedish theme, and a good bar.

    The check in and check out seemed to take for ever and staff seemed distracted. It was a poor welcome to the hotel. We are attached to this hotel because we stayed here for our wedding night several years ago, but this slightly marred our opinion of it.

    It was right next door to the wedding venue.

    Breakfast needed a vast improvement - bread was mouldy and had to be taken away, very slow service, replenishment of food slow! Check out service poor - tried to charge us for someone else's stay and food and was extremely slow and took 3 attempts to get it right and half an hour later it was rectified.

    The bed was clean and comfortable the coffee cups were nice and big! Service in restaurant very good staff very friendly and polite, food very good.

    Few cobwebs about on chandeliers.Our room was at the front and had a lot of noise late at night from street below.Also a fire door situated outside our room was in use late Saturday night for quite a few hours which made a noise every time it shut.

    The staff of the hotel was very helpful in order to arrange our needs.

    Rooms can be improved a lot. The room was very small and the shower was not working.

    The White Hart in has an excellent location in the picture postcard town of Wynchcombe. It is the old rambling type of inn with everything a few steps up and then a few steps down. The check-in was informal through the pub, which was an excellent gathering spot just not for guests, but local to the town as well. We couldn't have had a better meal than the candlelit dinner in the pub/restaurant on Saturday night. We also tried the pizzeria downstairs in the stable on Sunday, which was nice and informal. We had the Morroccan room which was fun, although it was on the verge of having too much furniture in it. Breakfast was included and very yummy.

    We had an excellent stay at the White Hart Inn and have all agreed to return. The only improvements were so minor they barely deserve mention...ie, a little dust on the room chandelier (but the room itself very clean), shower door would be better if it swung the opposite way...VERY minor. Excellent service and advice. Maybe a folder in each room with things to do in the area...we did ask about walking to Cleeve Hill and the staff sent us across the road to the very helpful tourist information center, but ideally this information and local walking maps would also be available at the hotel.
