    personnel sympathique

    odeur d'égout dans la salle de bain, filet d'eau dans la douche insuffisant, propretée moyenne, matelas usé, pas de lampe de chevet.

    NO BREAKFAST No refund offered even though said individual was in the breakfast area for 9.45 and there was none left - appalling.

    Good location for Brixton Academy, close to Clapham Common South tube station. Very clean, room very comfortable.

    The rooms were adequate for a London trip where you don't spend a great deal of time in them. Ideal for transport links and handy for amenities.

    The room at the front of the hotel was virtually impossible to sleep in because of traffic noise and loud revellers passing. The rooms also have very creaky floorboards, so there is constant disturbance from guests walking around in rooms above.

    The reception gave us our money back for the second night when we were unhappy with our room.

    The hotel was under construction and we did not have any warning. One of the steps we had to walk up was completely missing. The floor looked as if it had not been cleaned in ages, the hot water did not work in the bathroom, and overall the room felt very dirty.

    International conversion tool for UK electrical outlets present. The sink, bathtub and toilet was clean and fresh, and the bed had clean sheets. Short walking distance to Clapham South Underground station and Clapham Common Park.

    The room looked like it was in dire need of a vacuum cleaner and the bathroom floor looked not clean at all. The TV channel package and reception quality wasn't optimal. Some light bulbs were out of order.

    Breakfast room was a nice area. Bed was very comfortable.

    Bathroom was rather dirty looking, didn't fancy showering. Receptionist could not multi task, watching one guest fill in his details while we stood waiting, acknowledged us but could have given us our check in form to be completing, rather than us just standing there. Telephone in our room did not work so letting us know our taxi had arrived was more effort than it should have been.

    Location, running hot water

    Check-in staff unfriendly, no lighting outside room (8104) and had to feel my way to the door lock (Health & Safety!!), grubby room. Also, went for breakfast at 8.15. Three people chatting behind counter. I get to front of queue for toast and i'm told that they have run out of bread and someone has gone to buy more. How does a hotel, only offering toast and cereals for breakfast, allow the bread to run out at 8.15? A disgrace.

    Good Location

    The hotel states all rooms were en-suite but infact the bathroom is outside you our room and other people were using it ,when I woke up the next the the toilet was disgusting had stools sprayed around the toilet bowl disgusting!!! Never Again.

    Convenient location.

    Extremely rude and untrained staff. e.g. I was at told at check-in breakfast was served 7-9 a.m. I arrived at breakfast at 8:50 a.m. and the staff looked very displeased, making a point of turning off the lights in the serving area, half pulling down the shutter, etc. When I greeted the staff with "good morning", she looked sulkily away and did not return my greeting. Cleaning staff talking loudly in the corridors and generally making a racket. Cleaning staff kept banging on my door from 10:30 a.m. onwards telling me to check out. This happened several times. I did not feel like a customer being served. It felt like I was making a real nuisance of myself and she's doing me a great favour, even though I was meant to check out by 11 a.m. If I was at a charity shelter it would have been more understandable. A hotel is supposed to be hospitable, and I have never been so badly treated by hotel staff and I travel a lot. The single room for which I paid

    Reception staff were smart. They let me see Google maps to check route to the wedding reception we were attending.

    Room was humid and smelt damp. Decor was tired. Mattress was worn and lumpy.

    cant believe that I walked in off the street and you tried to charge me £50.00 for a room .... then after cranking my laptop up in reception you only charged me £34.00 on line, pleased I had my laptop otherwise you would have completely RIPPED ME OFF !!! not very happy about that !!!     Very nice staff!

    No Toiletbrush at the bathroom, and no cleaning after our first, and second night. Locker in the bahtroom was very dirty when we arrived. To few toasters for breakfast toasting. Waiting about 15 minutes to get our toasts ready.No diabetes-products.

    When checking in we were practically ignored due to a group having an arguement with them over a cot being booked and not avialable (so now where else to go with very young baby. Asked for my credit card which I said I would sign and collect on my way out for the evening as they were busy with these other guests. They persistantly called the room when I was getting ready asking me to go down and sign. There was no hot water available until 7pm and only a trickle and only one towel for two guests!

    24h-Rezeption; Change of the room after having problems with electricity and hot water for the rest of the day.

    Cold water in the afternoon, in the first single-apartment no connection to TV, very loud because of nearby-kitchen, hygienic problems in the room, at breakfast very bad coffee!

    "Appalling!! I didn't even risk the breakfast! I got up at 7am, washed quickly and left as soon as possible." (108023305)

    I can't think of anything positive to say about the experience.

    Where do I start? I have never stayed in such utter filth in all my life!!! The room I wouldn't have kept my dog in...absolutely disgusting!!! It started as I entered the door - the lock was hanging off - not a good start. As I walked in I thought I was in Beirut!!! The bedding was sparce to say the least. There was a bedsheet, two pillows - full of yellow stained old pillows that had seen better days and were stuffed in to a case. I took one look at them and rolled up some clothes rather than sleep on them. In the bathroom there was no soap, the towels were stained yellow and there was a bear light bulb on the ceiling - is that legal in a bathroom? The shower tray was stained with mildew, as was the ceiling which was also bear plaster. Shall I go on?

    nice looking building from outside, near to tube, fridge in room

    tiny room and bathroom, shabby decor, threadbare bed linen, very noisy, no ironing board available and only a leaky iron, no t.v in room, terrible breakfast, staff didn't know the area.

    "As above, booked with friends but our rooms were three flights apart. Would have liked to have known that it was a substandard hotel. It also appeared dangerous, light fitting burnt and broken, friends room the light although connected to electric moved around. Also the hairdryer in our room was cracked and broken although it still worked." (97736385)

    It was dirty, shower didn't work properly, no batteries in remote, no control on radiator so room was too hot, no sugar with tea coffee making facilities, no lamp shades, inadequate breakfast, blood in the bathroom, room not made up for second night stay even though we were out from 10.00am till 4.30. Window didnt work properly, bear cans under the bed, used shower gel satchets in shower etc

    "To start with, the building smelt stuffy and damp. TV and kettle were not working in my room. TV was changed later and was given one without a remote control (meaning l had to get out of bed to change channels). I was promised replacement of kettle which never happened and l slept really thirsty. At 1am, l started hearing noises from the ceiling which disturbed my sleep and on contacting reception, I was told that it was the boiler and there was nothing that could be done about it. I asked for another room and l was told that the place was fully booked. I remained awake till 3am when l asked for a refund to find somewhwere else to sleep that the receptionist informed me that he could give me another room.I referred to his previous comment that the place was fully booked and he informed me that somebody had just cancelled. I moved to this room, which was below ground level.The corridor carpets were wet and partially reaped out, with portable heater on (l suppose to dry the corridor) and this dampness was extending into the room that l moved into. A portable heater was also switched on in this room.I left this place feeling very unwell and it is the worst experience l have ever had." (97025908)
