    Great friendly staff. Good location.Good value for money. Food quality in Restaurant was good.

    More car parking spaces near to entrance. Better storage facilities in the room. Not much shelf space. We stayed in Room No 11. Twin Bedded Room.Noisy Wedding on the Sat night, but they did advise us that this woulkd be happening.

    The fine building, the marvellous grounds, the staff helpfulness, the bar snack menu especially when available for a late evening arrival,the tranquility of the area, the good value and the pleasing restaurant. Also the situation for ferry passengers ex Merseyside and convenience to Chester and road network.

    Some bedroom furnishings need to be refreshed. My wife and I were disappointed by a well soiled bed spread.

    Excellent value for money, lovely grounds and gardens, good food, friendly staff

    Two drawers in my room had partially eaten or uneaten TUC crackers in them. Probably some previous guest having a 'joke', but they should have been removed during the preparation of the room. The matress on the bed could do with renewing; however I slept extremely well.

    There was no restaurant service available due to refurbishment but this was signalled to me clearly in an e-mail from reception prior to my arrival. Staff helped with directions to local pub/restaurant.

    Everything about this hotel we liked, the approach up the driveway, the first view of the hotel and the grounds, even in the winter looked superb. The reception was welcoming and decorated to a high standard. The room was clean and well maintained and everything in the room worked as you would expect. We ordered room service which was quick and everything done to a really high standard and perfectly presented. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

    "Very pleasant. We were visiting relatives in Cheshire and found Inglewood to be the perfect "retreat".Ideal for exploring Chester. Staff were lovely.Room needs to be given a more contemporary "makeover" but this didn't spoil our overall experience." (108062175)

    Hotel and setting very attractive. Good location, near Chester. Staff friendly, attentive and imformative.Food was good and nicely presented.

    "We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. It was a lovely old building with well kept grounds. We had picked it from the internet at very short notice, as we had to change our accomodation plans at short notice. The room was adequate and for the price represented good value for money, it even included a full English breakfast. Which ws excellent. The only down side was the size of the television for the size of the room. I would be happy to stay in the same hotel in the future." (97371808)

    "Staff were polite,friendly,helpful and efficient. The hotel was located in beautiful gardens, with the character you would expect from a former mansion house. Parking was ample. My single room was small, but clean and adequate. The evening menu prices were somewhat high starting at £28 for a 2 course meal, and hence I decided to eat out. The breakfast was excellent.     The hotel was in a beautiful, quiet location, and had tremendous character. Staff were very polite and efficient.

    "Lovely place. Beautiful manor with superb grounds. Idyllic retreat. The breakfast was generous and delicious and the service was impeccable. Few areas where the hotel could improve: 1. Provide room service with a set menu or requests. 2. There was no lighting over the dressing talbe so had to get ready in the bathroom. 3. A small leaflet with the history of the manor would have made the stay even more special. Overall, very friendly efficient staff and gorgeous place., Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend to friends." (97537011)

    Large room with enough seating plus cot for the little one without feeling crowded at all.

    The view was rather poor as we had an attic sort of room with high windows. This also meant that we had to manage with the baby's carseat and a toddler up quite a lot of stairs. (To be fair we did not ask them to provide an alternative room)

    friendly staff, cleanliness of hotel and the picturesque grounds.

    nothing to dislike,apart from our next door neighbour talking quite loud most of the night,a gentle knock on the wall did the trick.
