    airco is prettig, restaurant was goed, ook ontbijt.

    hout van bad stonk vreselijk, schimmel op tegels. echt vreselijke lucht hout was continu nat internet aanvragen ging erg lastig, 3 keer de helpdesk gebeld

    Clean, bright, ease of access to NEC. Advised at reception it was a 20-25 minute walk. Took us only just over ten! Good breakfast choice/options

    room was spacious, bed was very large and very firm. power shower a definate plus. quiet room. staff resolved problems quickly and without fuss.

    staff could not find our booking at first. wanted a coffee on arrival (approx 12pm)no staff avialble to serve for approx 10 mins. only one bath towel provided for two adults, room took a while to warm up. bathroom remained cold.

    reception staff were very nice , courteous , & very apologetic room fine , clean etc .

    i booked a triple room . the premier inn system only had me down as a single person so no triple room available . the staff did eventually provide a fold up bed but not til 9.45 ( arrived at 5.45 ) whiich made my childrens bed time very late . They were too busy on desk prior to that and couldnt get away .

    Public areas were very welcoming and staff most helpful. Breakfast arrangements first class.

    Bedroom comfortable. Not as good as home and I do expect the cleanliness and decoration to be exceptional - it was not.

    Efficient friendly helpful staff, cleanliness, good breakfast (best we have had in this type of accomodation)nice grounds and quiet position.

    No bad points, only being smokers it would have been better if we did not have to walk all around the building to outside seating with our drinks. There was an emergency exit which led to outside but we obviously didn't use it as it is a fire door.

    Clean comfortable room, fantastic power shower, good to have a bath and a shower. Hotel was full due to an event at the NEC and the staff coped very well. Probably one of the better Premier Inns that I've stayed at and very convenient for the NEC.

    The remote control for the TV didn't work and wasn't fixed - a minor problem for me. Not being able to book a table for the evening meal - as a female staying on my own, sitting in a crowded bar alone for 45 minutes while waiting for a table wasn't ideal. Apparently it's more efficient for the restaurant.

    "Two years ago we had a brilliant stay at this hotel when rooms and restaurant were very good. It was alomost as good this time. The welcome and staff service was very good and they were helpful. They allowed us to park in carpark on the day we were due to arrive earlier so we could use the courtesy bus to NEC,therefore saving £8 carpark fee. This stay was marred by the restaurant situation at all mealtimes; the modernisation of the restaurant seems to mean it can no longer cope with the numbers wishing to use it. I would probably stay again, but would eat elsewhere unless the restaurant situation is remedied." (107989686)

    Staff at reception very helpful. Waiting staff very helpful and very hardworking. Room was clean and presentable in bedroom area. Courtesy coach to NEC event was very useful

    Restaurant totally unable to cope with numbers for dinner and breakfast leading to very long waits..1hr15mins on one occasion. Crockery for breakfast not available and led to 15min waits for bowls,then plates, then mugs. Room 27 is very noisy because of entrance door close by and the noise from vending machines in stairwell. Side panel of bath hanging off. Bathroom door very difficult to close.

    The Hotel was excellent value for money and was convenient to Drayton Manor.

    It would be helpful in the restaurant if the children's meals were brought out first and perhaps cooled a little. They were served on roasting hot plates which made cooling them difficult by which time our meals were also cold.

    Beautifully run hotel. Excellent for single female travellers with appropriate secure check-in policy ( a rare find, even these days).

    Whilst having to travel back and forth to the NEC, it was rather inconvenient to have to hire a taxi(~ five pounds for one person.) Unless it is broad daylight (and one does not mind a 1.36 mile walk), it is not advised(as per speaking to NEC security staff)to walk at evening/night hours back to the hotel. Even if one decides to walk through the entire NEC building towards the "North" car park, it is still a bit of a trek outdoors to the hotel without any short cuts or shelter from the weather. However, at the hotel there is a complimentary telephone directly linking the caller to a reliable, affordable taxi company and one may request the business card of the company to call for a return ride back to the hotel. The fee charged by this company from the hotel to the NEC is five pounds. If one is going to the airport(BHX), the fee should be five to six pounds. This was the correct rate as of March 6-16, 2009.

    "Overall a very good experience. Would not have eaten there each night because of limitations of menu but it was helpful that bar was open on returning from convention." (107669337)

    Efficient and friendly staff who were willing to provide a breakfast without even acknowledging that we had come late! Check in was smooth and as our luggage was delayed by 24 hrs they immediately offered a travel pack free of charge.

    Very handy for NEC - walkable from airport

    you have to jump the fence to get to the NEC area - why did they block the gate??

    Superking bed - excellent. Shower - excellent. Family room size - good. Cleanliness - excellent.

    Childrens beds were at floor level - not good for a 12 and 8 year old. Touch screen on the automatic check in was tempremental.

    Late opening of resturant good as late back from event each night. Was clean and comfortable, staff freindly.

    Did not have 1 undisturbed night, very noisy and loud guests. Scrambled egg was runny and was not yellow! why are the water glasses in the room so small, I had to get up in the middle of the night to refill!

    Staff pleasant and helpful. Service efficient. Good selection of food. Room comfortable.

    Electronic keys had to be replaced as they did not work. Better air conditioning would be nice - the room tended to be hot and stuffy, despite opening the window. Difficult to find telephone number of the hotel's reception from the internet when I wanted to contact them before I arrived. Daughters say they would have liked biscuits to go with the tea etc.

    Position for the NEC is excellent and within walking distance, especially if you exit across the adjacent NEC carpark.

    The service in the Restaurant on the Saturday eveening was very poor. The staff appeared to lack leadership and the service was very slow.
