    Excellent location and courteous staff

    No selection of TV channels..should have cable. Bar was taken over by large TV screen with football which did not allow for a quiet unwinding relaxing drink

    Good overall service

    The service at breakfast was a bit chaotic with one person waiting on who did not seem to have enough time to service customers resulting in us removing our own dirty plates from the table. some issues with language used to explain account details and why breakfast was 13 euros in stead of the 10 I had expected. I had not understood from the information on the e-mail that I had to pre book/pay to get breakfast for 10 euros.

    Friendly Staff

    Fridge was not working. Only Tea and Coffee in Room. Do not drink Tea or Coffee! Most hotels I have stayed in usually include Hot Chocolate and Mineral Water. No free overnite resident parking. Fee was unreasonable.

    The room was spacious, clean, and was well equipped for the seasoned traveller.

    the faulty heating system which woke me at 4 a.m. the fact that there was no prior indication thatI would be charged for parking. Arriving on a delayed flight I paid the airport charge for an extra day only to find I was to be charged again at the hotel!Very irritating for a weary traveller and not a good welcome to Cork.The check out employee was sympathetic and redeemed as best she could. I have stayed in you hotel in Stanstead and Cork is very disappointing in comparison

    "Car parking arrangements should be clearer. The hotel facilitated us with a few hours of a very comfortable rest to enable us to get up at dawn to catch a plane.!!!!!!!. Value for money ??? Do we have such a thing in Ireland. I think not. Frances Flynn 18/05/07" (99492519)

    Convenient to Airport.We booked on line to stay overnight. We got up at 4.30am to catch a plane to Berlin. I believe that an appropriate rate should be available for people sleeping for a few hours ---- i.e. till dawn --should be available.

    The accommodation was very good. I did not dislike anything about it as I could not make an appropriate judgement based on a few hours in a bedroom as we had to leave at 5.00am, to catch a plane to Berlin.Interaction with human beings in the hotel was minimal.We met the check -in person and the check-out person only for a few minutes.

    "I stayed overnight as my daughter was returning to Australia at 5am and we were offered a courtesy bus to the airport which I thought was an excellent service. The Bedroom was spotless and that would be my priority. I will definitely use this hotel again and would recommend it to my friends. Reception staff were very nice and friendly." (99500290)

    The accomadition met with the requirements that I required, with the staff being most helpful with the problems that arose.

    There was nothing to dislike about this accomodation it suited my needs.

    "Easy to find. Quick check in and out. My request for a lower ground room for my elderly Father was granted without any hassle. Aircraft noise was minimal and not at all during the night. The hotel was quiet and our sleep was not disturbed. Towels and bedding were clean and fresh and room was immaculate. Should I have been on business I could have worked in comfort using my laptop as this facility was excellent." (3304675086)

    "We chose this hotel simply because it was close to the airport. We arrived late evening and were leaving for other parts of Ireland early the next morning so it didn't make sense to drive any further for a hotel than necessary. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to someone who is staying in Cork for sightseeing because of the location, but for our purposes it fit our needs." (3304668665)

    Room layout was excellent, staff friendly, high standard of cleanliness.

    I felt the Reception area lacked athmosphere and warmth especially as it was bitterly cold outside weatherwise, maybe a fire grate of some sort might help matters.I also felt that more terrestrial tv chanels could have been available...... BBC 1 BBC 2 and UTV. Staff could have been more knowledgable of the local area.

    Nice large room, complete with desk.

    At check-in I had to duplicate the information I gave when booking my visit. Otherwise very good.

    "If you are looking for a hotel near Cork Airport, go no further. You couldn't possibly get a better location. From the hotel you can see the runway and the airport terminal. The bar, reception and the rooms are beautifully decorated." (2842469)

    The hotel was very nicely decorated and the staff were all very friendly.

    The price for breakfast was a little high.

    "I was very pleased with everything in the hotel. The only glitch was the kettle in my room not working, I realize that very late in the night and didn't want to call someone for replacement (just survived without coffee). Other than this minor issue, everything was really as expected." (2942833)

    Booking, checkin (including a Chilean lady speaking Spanish to me, being a Spanish speaker was a pleasant surprise in Ireland ;-), facilities and checkout were all very good.

    The general aspect of the room is more average than other 4-start hotels I stayed in. Not that I'm particularly concerned about that, but some small bits of luxury won't hurt. Breakfast was OK, but I would welcome a bigger choice in the buffet area.

    The room was spacious and clean

    The sound of the television in the bathroom was annoying as there seemed to be no way of switching it off. It was very loud all the time the television was on.
