    "This was an absolute gem of a hotel to find,with stunning views from our room and the restaurant of the ochre quarry.I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. For those who drive,parking in Roussillon could be a problem;however we were allocated a parking space by the hotel." (99202143)

    The overall ambience,including elegant and period furnishing,friendly and helpful staff and a first class restaurant.

    The restaurant in the hotel has very nice view at night & morning. Our room did not have a view, but calm and clearn and enought space for two people.

    "This hotel was ideally situated if you wanted to explore the town and yet it was quiet and very relaxing if you just wanted to Chill out.It was modern and tastefully decorated in true Provence style.The staff were very helpful and we had our breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant on the three nights we stayed."     It was situated in the centre of Roussillon and had a superb and dramatic position overlooking the valley

    The restricted parking was a drawback but there was alternative parking nearby and perhaps an inclusive breakfast would be more attractive to travellers.

    "We feel that we where adequately informed by the website, the pictures were helpful, description of the facilites were accurate. We will recommend this hotel and method of booking to our friends and family. We have one small regret, we wish that we had known about the room/rooms with a balcony.     The staff were very friendly and you got the feeling that nothing was too much trouble. The room was cool and cleaned to a high standard everyday.

    That there was no swimming pool and as the temperature reached 37 degrees we really missed it.

    "Rousillon is a very attractive village, that welcomes many tourists and does its best to limit road traffic. This means that parking can be problematic on arrival, and once there, possession of a key to one of the limited hotel car parking places should be a priority. The hotel itself is well appointed, with an excellent restaurant, inside or on a terrace, that provides spectactular views over the local ochre cliffs and countryside. You can enjoy a good breakfast which included home made yoghurt and fresh fruit, but is not a buffet, from the terrace or in the courtyard in the shade of the wisteria. The quality of the meals and service in the restuarant is very high, although we felt the menu choice is rather limited, especially if you were staying for more than a couple of nights. You certainly should not miss out on dinner on the terrace, but it is also worth knowing that there are also other good quality restaurants close by. The only niggle with our six day stay there was that when you wanted anything, or came down for breakfast, there never seemed to be anyone around. Having said that, staff were always friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay immensely, and would recommend the hotel with confidence." (3304588782)

    Our de-luxe room was adequate in size, attractively and comfortably furnished, and with sufficient storage and hanging space for clothes. but the main bonus was its large terrace - with beautiful and peaceful views over the countryside. It also benefitted from quiet air-conditionning, which made sleeping very easy.

    No dislikes, but future guests should be aware that only a few rooms have terraces.

    "ce restaurent hotel est classé au gault et millaud, une reference! l hotel en lui-meme n'a pas ses 3 étoiles car il est ouvert depuis septembre seulement,cela dit, il les mérite! bon choix si vous aimezle vaucluse et les balades dans de beaux paysages" (3304207235)
