    "I had a very nice sized room with a window that opened wide. Furniture was old but very clean. I would have liked en-suite facilities but I knew before I arrived that they were outside my room so I was not disappointed. I was pleased at how clean everything was and the bathroom & toilet facilities were very close to my room so this was not a problem for me. A bonus was the handbasin in my room which I did not expect." (107310025)

    Clean, good value for money, helpful & pleasant staff, very easy internet booking with a good explanation of what to expect in terms of facilities.

    "Totally spotless, incredibly friendly and light-filled hotel in a truly exceptional location. I only stayed for one night, but I would definitely stay again." (107660494)

    Great location, very friendly, very well maintained, in a beautiful building on a beautiful and surprisingly quiet street, and my room looked onto the British Museum.

    No TV and no en-suite as I had booked a last-minute single room, though I knew this before booking. The shared toilet and shower facilities were right next to my room and very well maintained, so I had no problem with that fact.

    hotel and room was spotless. Staff were friendly and professional breakfast was good taken together with the central location - fantastic value

    no bad points but a tv in the room woild have been nice.

    Room was great - very quiet, and was kept very clean and orderly. Provision of keys to the outside door was great and allowed freedom to come and go at any time. Breakfast was great with very nice staff.

    The bathrooms could have been kept cleaner, especially the shower. Also the provisional of wireless internet would have helped considerably.

    "This was exactly the place I needed: a clean, secure room near my meetings at the Museum. No frills here, just the basics. The room has a sink and wardrobe, desk and chair, and easy chair; wireless internet was available. There's a TV room downstairs, and you can watch SkyTV news during breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was perfect- 10 min walk from Russell Square Tube station, next to British Museum. This was an excellent deal. If you want luxury accommodations, stay somewhere else, but if you want a place to stay so you can explore London after a hearty breakfast, the Ruskin is perfect." (107934352)

    Great location, great price for a no frills place to stay with good full English breakfast or cereals. Clean and neat facility with friendly helpful staff. Had wireless internet, too!

    Staff was very helpful.

    We think 2 p.m. is a little late to obtain access to your room on the first day. The uncovered neon lighting in our room was awful. The toilet in the hallway was quite audible from our room.

    Great hotel, location superb for sight seeing in London, easy walking distance from main tube stations, staff extermly helpful and friendy, room was clean, warm and perfect for its purpose. Full Breakfast was superb with all the usual breakfast choices included in the price.

    good access to the British Museum; budget price compared to other local hotels, although very expensive by Canadian standards; lots of hot water in shower; clean towels everyday; lovely clean sheets on the beds; excellent breakfast (although the sausages were horrible).

    carpet in the room was filthy; mattress was hard as a rock; street noise loud; shower room/stall was almost too narrow and small for an average sized person, and a large person would find it impossible; toilet wasn't bolted to the floor and rocked (2nd floor orange room).

    Central - Covent Garden ca 10 min walk, Trafalgar and Piccadilly 15 min. Room was nice and quiet at the back of the hotel. Nice breakfast and very friendly staff.

    Relatively small "family" room, but for short stay 'OK'. Shower head needed cleaning before we could use it - but nothing serious.

    The kindness of the staff. This hotel is very clean, very central and the breakfast included in the price is abundant, served by very kind staff.

    The washbasin in my room didn't run well and the water got stagnant, which was very unpleasant. The furniture is clean but old and a bit grim.
