    Excellent hotel, very clean and tidy and staff extremely helpful. Head cleaning lady - very helpful when key would not open door. Young lad in bar - very nice and helpful aswell as receptionist. really made to feel welcome.

    i would love to say - none - however we were not told we had to book for dinner so when we went the restaurant we were turned away. Ended up with bar food - ordered ceasar salad with chicken. this was just lettuce with chicken on top - very disapointing - we should have got a taxi to elsewhere but thought the hotel was that good - we would stay in. very disappointed with the food and availability.

    The Hotel was very nice. The Staff were very friendly very cheerful very helpful and hard working. My neice had her wedding and the food was 1st class and the staff were very very good with everything. overall It was 1st class

    My daughter had her wedding reception at the hotel the staff were excellent and the co-ordinator Chia deserves a medal, she had the staff fully behind her. All the staff were attentive to guests needs

    Clean. Quiet spacious accommodation. Staff very polite, helpful and efficient. Wide choice for breakfast. Fair size carpark. Bus stop at bottom of Close.

    Lounge and conservatory cold. Evening Meal perhaps a little expensive and a childs menu would be nice, although do offer halfprice, or would try to meet requests. Charged halfprice for our rooms, which was reasonable for an all in B&B, but full price would certainly expect more luxury, eg bathroom, fridge, more upto date and larger TV and generally expect to be plusher all round, including other facilities/services. Catering offered 24 hours but only upto 21.30 in lounge. Would be nice if could have a nightcap in the lounge area when arriving back after an evening out, instead of in own room.

    Great layout of hotel and property. Very beautiful and quiet. Lovely room. Friendly staff. Depending upon what you are looking for not in town.

    Not close to town. Breakfast buffet not worth the money but food was tasty. Hotel should provide shuttle service to town and local sites. Showers set off fire alarms on a regular basis.

    Beautiful location. Quiet hotel. Good sized rooms. Good value.

    The shower kept running hot and then cold ! It would be good to have shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom.

    Bailbrook House hotel is very conveniently situated for those approaching Bath from the M4. It is set back from the road and so pleasantly quiet. There is plenty of parking and the grounds are very pleasant. The main building is very attractive. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The buffet breakfast was very good. Staff were very helpful and obliging. Overall excellent value for this area.

    No real criticisms. We had a little difficulty locating the dining room; possibly signage could be clearer.

    The reception manager resolved problem over check in and was excellent. The resturant staff were excellent as was the food

    When checking in my attival was marred by when arriving I was early as the room was not ready we had coffee and waited, at two pm we tried to check in only to be told the room was not ready with no explaination or expected time of readiness, again we waited and enquired again 15 min's later again to be told the room was not ready ten min's later the same and when I asked the staff to do something to resolve this I was met with "we can't". At this point a man who I assume was reception manager arrived who was friendly, helpfull and efficient solved the situation quickly by merely giving us a room that was ready. I know things can go wrong in any business but staff should be able and willing to sort problems and inform customers of why there are problems and what they can do to resolve them, in a word communication, I am afraid the ladies on your reception only had time to communicate between themselves

    Good supports on special case. Ex: Staffs from BailBrook House Hotel and Active hotel help us to find the best way to cancell one night stay due to vacation had been shorten by business.

    It will be perfect if we could go through Internet to modify the stays for some unexpected cases, not cancel the original request.

    Room was spacious and the food was pleasant and the staff were friendly. There was free parking and it was close enough to Bath.

    There was no atmosphere in the hotel ,it felt like a business conference centre

    "Bailbrook House is a good all round weekend place to stay at. Only a short bus journey into central Bath. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff." (107202892)

    Nice and quiet area therefore we slept very well. If you like a soft bed you'll love it! The breakfast is all cooked from very good quality ingredients and the staff are very helpful and obliging.

    The advertising for Bailbrook House shows the front of the house, this is a facade. You stay in a fairly ugly looking basic building at the rear. Don't be fooled that the water in the room is complimentary - it isn't!

    We loved the hotel and people but unfortunately we were not impressed by the evening dinner. Cold, two potato dishes, just didn't taste nice and found it difficult to see what the cooking award was for.

    The room was clean and of a good size. The location just outside of Bath city centre made it easy to access by public transport.

    We found the bed quite inadequare in that it was far too soft. My wife and I ended up with dreadful backache which spoilt what really should have been a very relaxed break. The driveway and entrance to the building was quite deceptive as the actual accommodation was in what can only be described as 1960's prefab. We requested our room to be serviced only to find that the bed linen was not change.

    Very misleading. Beautiful hotel and grounds yet all of the rooms are in a separate area which is a cross between Halls of Residence and a hospital.

    This was a clean and tidy hotel with good staff avalible to help you if needed

    Due to a wedding party staying at the hotel it did cause a problem with the amount of food ready for breakfast on the Sunday morning. Also during the night the telephone in our room starting to ring about 2am and in the end we had to unplug it.

    Size of room, size of bed, quality of fixtures and fittings, lack of noise through walls.

    Number of channels on TV. Would it be difficult to offer all the Freeview channels in areas where it's available??

    the size of the room & bed & the cleanliness of the hotel. The setting was very peaceful & beautiful.

    Hotel was generally very good and a convenient location to Bath centre. Breakfast and evening meal were very good.

    Dining room was not very cosy or intimate, felt like some-ones lounge!
