    Kamer incl. sanitair was o.k. Dichtbij tubestation

    Geluidsoverlast van andere hotelgasten. Er werd niet ingegrepen door personeel. Personeel was onvriendelijk.

    très bon accueil, bien situé par rapport à ce que nous devions faire.

    la fenêtre qui donne sur la voie ferrée provoque de légères vibrations sonores ainsi que sur le sol.

    "Bei dem was wir erlebt haben, hätten wir uns die 130 € sparen können und mit einem Schlafsack direkt unter einer Bahnunterführung übernachten können. Wahrscheinlich wäre das sogar hygienischer gewesen! " (108580785)

    Nähe zum Zentrum

    Ich mußte mehr zahlen als über Buchungsseite vereinbart (Zusatzgebühr Kreditkarte +5 Pound)! Das Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt, die Bettdecke war verdreckt, Bezug ok. Das Frühstück war erst ab 8 Uhr verfügbar und dann mehr als spartanisch. Der Personal sehr unfreundlich! Der Duschvorhang war verschimmelt, Fernsehprogramme konnten nicht empfangen werden. Die Gleise der Bahn waren vom Fenster aus in greifbarer Nähe, sehr sehr laut!

    Easy to get to, decent size room, cheap for location.

    Extra 5 pound fee for paying with eftpos, rude staff, place stunk of curry. They kept a document with my credit card details which made me feel most uncomfortable.

    Blood spatter on bedroom wall; disgusting kettle, no mugs but 3 dirty glasses, no tea/coffee provided, sky that didnt work, and no mention that if you pay on card when you arrive, they charge an extra £5.05, and also a very rough area, with a noisy pub next door so hard to sleep until 12am.

    Accomodation was basic, but good for what you would expect for price (incl Breadkfast)

    We did get a room at the back of the hotel next to the train tracks which was a bit noisy. They did provide a fan which meant we could close the window and reduce the sound, but unfortunately the radiator shock with the vibrations. We are not particularly light sleepers so wasn't too bad for us, but be aware if you are. Ask for room at front of hotel.

    Nice bathroom, good staff, good room

    not really worth £50 a night, t.v and sky box didnt work, located near a bend in the train tracks (Every train screeched to slow down when they passed) breakfast was a little Lacking (a choice of toast with either beans or jam)

    The staff are very helpful and its a very nice little hotel in a great location - delighted the bathroom spotlessly clean as well as bed-linen and towels.

    Cleanliness!! Its a shame the curtains were filthy/unwashed in the room as well as the bed-head/bed-base and duvet although the bed linen was spotlessly clean. The bed-head is fabric so has got soiled very quickly as well as the bed base, so perhaps the hotel might consider replacing these with some material that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth as it was very offputting. There really was no excuse for the filthy net curtain and the main curtains. It was the same down in the main foyer where the pc for guest use is on a messy/unkempt desk, and some broken furniture in the foyer.

    This is cheap for london and just by Bethnal Green tube so great access. The hotel has recently been repainted. The towels were newish. The staff were very friendly. It had been cleaned well but you cannot make a silk purse from a sows ear.

    The furniture has not been updated when they repainted and in some cases was absolutely filthy with stains and dirt. The bed was ok but linen, pillows and duvet old and thin. I was in the roof and the velux opened onto a flat roof but the handle was put on wrong so you could not close the window so security was poor. The tap was missing the lever for the plug so the water would not drain away. the bathroom smelt badly. The electrics from a 4 plug adapter crackled and should be removed. breakfast only started at 8 which is no use for most business travellers. The road is the quiet side! Trains at rear are very noisey if youre to the rear. I was moved to front with no issue at all.

    room was unclean. cigarette burns in duvet. noise so loud couldnt sleep as railway line at the back. Also had to leave the hotel every morning at 7.30 to go to work and couldnt have the breakfast i had paid for as breakfast didnt start until 8. I did ask for an early breakfast but was refused.

    Room has been right next the tube rails. The train was running every 5 minutes! Not recommendable.

    "I didn't like to much this hotel.In fact I have been several times in London and this is the worst hotel I have ever been. The staff wasn't very friendly, just the cooker in the breakfast was really ok. I would say that there are better choices in London, definetely" (107723982)

    The good thing is the location. Close to the tube stop and it is easy to find.

    Basically the strange thing is that the refusrbished part of the hotel is the one you go into to make the check in. If you are lucky, and they decided to give you a room in the same building, it would be ok, but they have a building next door that it is horrible. First, the room was quite dirty, just a small window. No coffee/tea service, the TV on the fridge. The bathroom was in the first floor (I was in the ground floor) and the toilet I should use, was dirty, and sometimes it didn't work properly. The breakfast is ok if you want english breakfast, and you are going to stay for a couple of days. Otherwise you will have always the same breakfast. The staff didn't explain me anything.

    the room was dirty.there were long hairs in the hand basin and the bath was old and dirty.the head board was off the bed. the bed was falling to pieces.there was only a kettle in the room no cups or tea etc .no remote for tv which sat on the fridge---rubbish

    "I only had contact with two members of staff, one male and one female. The man had an excellent customer attitude and if my check-in had not been handled so badly, my overall review would have been very good." (107877511)

    Check in: I was told by a female receptionist that I must pay a surcharge for using my credit card. I said that had not been made clear on booking. She showed me a form with it on but I had not seen this form. I refused to pay the surcharge and she said that in fact the machine was broken and I must pay cash. I said I didn't have enough cash. She pointed to an ATM in the reception, but that was one that levied a charge. I refused to use this and went to a nearby bank. I had to insist on a receipt as one was not offered to me.
