    Very nice ensuite room. Microwave,fridge,TV, iron hair drier in room.

    Noise from road. No private parking.

    nice location, nice lobby

    we were given a regulur room and we have paid for a suite the person in the lobby would not give us a suite. He also was homophobic, just with the look he gave us when we arrived. He also ask my bf what was he doing here and where did he was suppose to sleep....

    Hotel did not have room ready two hours after check in time when we got the room we where told we could only take it if it was not cleaned as the cleaners didnt turn up that day. no attemp was made to later clean the room and we had to sleep in a bed with used sheets. very unhappy with managments response to my complaint. honestly for the money its not worth the hastle, the whole experience felt like something out of faulty towers

    Quite handy for Aberdeen centre, easy to find and park with very friendly, helpful staff. A special mention to the black female receptionist (thanks for the help if you're reading, sorry never got your name ), who was evry nice and helpful

    We had an adjoining room, with a very noisy bunch next door and overall the hotel was too noisy to enjoy a peaceful nights sleep. Sound insulation was poor, but the additional youngsters attending the oasis gig were a bit rowdy

    "The first impression of the hotel was not as good as we expected - the area looked a bit down-market. However, once inside we were very impressed especially by the Manager/Receptionist who was very welcoming and helpful. Our stay was too short to make use of the bar and restaurant so we couldn't comment. Our Aberdeen-based relatives came to see the hotel and were equally surprised and pleased at the hotel."     The cleanliness was outstanding. The beds were very comfortable. The various pieces of equipment were very good.

    The security chain on the door was broken. There was no blanket availabile because I find it very hot sleeping under a duvet. I brought my own blanket and used the duvet cover as a sheet.

    Once we were in the room, the decor was nice.

    1. Impossible to find from the directions online. We had to ring the hotel and only then could we find the hotel; 2. We arrived and the receptionists were slow and unhelpful; a porter service was not offered although it was supposedly available and we had large bags; 3. We had to park in a shopping centre car park and didnt feel at all safe leaving our car there; 4. We went into the restaurant for lunch and a 'training manager' watched us sit down then came over to tell us this was a private function and to move to the bar for lunch; we moved to the bar, then were told we couldnt order lunch as there was a big group at the private function and the chef was busy; 5. This hotel was not in a nice area and we had to walk through a dark tunnel to get from the car to the hotel late at night.

    "Drinks bar ran out of beer, and the resteraunt ran out of bacon on the day I stayed. Parking in the rear carpark in some what of an experiance and gives the hotel the wrong impression. So for this I would not stay again." (97894317)

    The room was clean and well presented with useful ameneties such as the microwave, crockery cutlery etc, it was warm and reaonably spacious.

    The only criticism I would have relates to unpleasant stains on the ceiling and the vent fan in the bathroom didn't work and looked as if it was about to fall down

    "I booked a disabled suite and found the bathroon was a bath/shower which being a disabled suite I would expect a walkin shower. There was grab rails fitted also a support arm at the toilet but no area around the toilet where a carer could stand to assist the disabled person. Had I known it was a bath I would have been just as well booking a normal room. Other than the bathroom the bedroom was excellent." (97677656)

    Location

    The plumbing requires a complete overhaul, showerhead barely worked, drain in bath left you wading ankle deep when taking a shower, toilet flush did not work properly, 2-3 times to clear anything. TV remote missing, replaced after visit to reception. Doors ouside room banged continuously and walls paper thin, you can hear conversations from the adjoining room.

    Very functional and spacious- had everything we needed for a family of 4 to stay comfortably.

    Not easy to find, no clear signage on the hotel.

    The bartender was excellent. The TV channels were not bad, with satellite programming.

    The room was extremely small. However, I bet that's quite normal for Aberdeen. It required cabs to Union Street (main strip), which was very inconvenient. Would rather stay walking distance to Union Street.

    This hotel accomodation is fresh, modern and comfortable. The staff I met during my brief visit were all very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very good too.

    Nothing about the hotel itself, although the surrounding area is not that great.
