    exellent location,

    Very difficult to park,hard to find spaces on nearby streets, car park opposite.,but no way of paying for an overnight stay

    The owners were very friendly, it was central to the town.

    Room was dull and very old fashioned, none of the bed clothes etc matched and looked quite dirty. There was what looked like cat hair all over the carpet and overall appearance was dirty.

    We had to change rooms as the bed was broken and the shower did not work. The rooms also needed cleaning

    Where do i start -the room was dirty , bed sheets had blood on them . The grotty pub downstairs played really really loud music till 1 in the morning , it was so loud the floor and walls were vibrating and could not even here the tv in the room if it was on full . when the music did finally stop we then had all the p**s head shouting outside the hotel till about 3 in the morning . :o(

    Good friendly service, nice breakfast, rock band playing in the pub downstairs on Friday night. Fun, good pub/hotel. Rooms were clean and room was found for our bicycles (we are cyclists)

    Rooms decor is a bit dated.

    Clean, no fuss, easy access to room, friendly staff, could come and go as pleased.

    dented headboard, in need of general redecoration. Poor parking although we were aware of this prior to visit.

    Parking is a complete nightmare for long stay or more than 3 hours, local NCP carpark is not open all day Sunday

    Staff who checked us in and served us with breakfast was very professional and polite.

    Not informed rooms were above a pub before booking, only got the shoch when we got to the hotel. No telephone number available until reservation was made.

    The fact that either guests or management decided to have a party from 2am until gone 5am so we had no sleep. no consideration for other guests what so ever.

    my son and i stayed at the hotel as we were attending the heineken cup final in cardiff and found the accomodation very much to our sastisfaction very clean and convient to all our needs

    as we where working at the swansea grand theatre it was no more than 100yrds away, which made it very convenient, the staff where very friendly and the rooms where comfortable and clean, i will stay here again.

    I loved the general ambiance and feel of the place. The staff were very accommodating and helpful.

    The room itself was quite nice, but there were problems in the bathroom. The shower wasn't attached to the wall (I managed to rig up a solution) and the toilet leaked around the base. I think it had been doing it for several years, as the floor of the bathroom felt a bit spongy under the linoleum.

    The bed was very comfortable!

    Your website did not say that this hotel was in fact a pub, nor that it was situated on a busy road junction witha lot of traffic noise.

    "The hotel is conveniently located , close to the train station, bus station ,tourist information and other attractions. So its great. The staff were excellent , very friendly and helpful. Also the breakfast served was very good. However the noise levels in and around the hotel are pretty high. We were not warned about the live band being played in the hotel on weekends. And since we were staying only for the weekend we were not very pleased with the decibel levels. If you can stay out beyond midnight(to avoid the noise in the pub downstairs) and are looking for an absolute budget hotel , then this is great. But if you are looking for a place to relax after a full day of sight seeing i am afraid you will be disappointed." (97608594)

    Noise in and around the hotel was a bit too much. We were not warned about live band that would be playing on both the nights that we stayed in the hotel.

    It kept us out of the cold.

    "the breakfast was o.k but the toast was half cooked and soggy. the waitress took half and hour to bring out cooked breakfast over which was really slow and when i asked for a glass of water i was still waiting 20minutes later! service in that department needs to be improved." (97293335)

    I think it could be made clearer that it is a pub, but having said that the hotel was fine for a night.

    Could do with double glazing in the rooms as it was noisy during the night with people walking home from town (not from the pub itself)
