"Séjour très agréable dans l'ensemble surtout en début de matinée et fin de journée lorsque qu'il y a moins de visiteurs... Pas de chance côté marée, nous ne sommes pas venus la bonne semaine puisqu'elle est présente une semaine sur deux." (97814025)
Le fait d'être situé sur le Mont. Le personnel du restaurant est très charmant.
Les lits jumeaux pour un jeune couple, c'est pas top. Petit espace entre le mur et la baignoire et le mur et le lit côté fenêtre heureusement qu'on tient la ligne grâce aux 3 étages à monter... Pour un 3 étoiles, nous dirions plutôt 2.

"Le Mont is a wonderful experience and this is an ideal place to stay in the heart of the hamlet. Fairly expensive accomdation, but then all the hotels on the island are expensive and it is well worth the experience for 1 night for the views, the atmosphere and the exclusivity of staying on the island not at the other end of the causeway." "The access to the park on the causeway might be useful to know about how that opperates,eg drive right up and go to the man on duty at the small building just before the barriers. Possibly the amount of stairs to be climbed with suitcases- in our case we had packed what we needed in one case and left the bulk of our luggage in the car bbot for the night. Also we were lucky and set off to see the Abbey early and avoided any queues. As we left the Abbey at 1pm the queues were very long. Some brief information leaflet on arrival might be useful. eg. Welcome to the Mont St Michael and things to see (museums en route to the top), where to go for an early breakfast, (ommlettes being served later in the morning only)and advice about seeing the Abbey early in the day." The room was fantastic-the only one with a balcony, as far as we could discern from the front of the hotels. The bathroom was new and had everything and the bed was the most comfortable we had slept in during our two week visit to France! I wish I had booked more than the one night at your hotel.Waking up in the morning to see out over the sea was really lovely.
There was nothing to dislike about the accommodation although we arrived very late and the suitcases were difficult to get up so many stairs. This might be a real problem for an eldery person or a person with a disability. In our case the gentleman who met us even helped at the last part as he could see we were very tired!We really appreciated that help.

"Room was quite large and well decorated in a style fitting the island, quite welcoming after a long car journey. The view was wonderful, even though the tide was not in...enjoyed looking over part of the island and the house rooftops below us. Staff was accommodating and allowed us to leave luggage in lobby so we could check out earlier and tour the abbey without having to rush back. We did not mind having to climb the extra 2 sets of stairs from the lobby to our room, though one would have to be in good shape, especially with heavy suitcases." (3305096049)
The room was quite spacious and had an expansive view of the bay from our window. Hotel staff at desk were pleasant and allowed us to leave our suitcases in the lobby so we could visit the abbey without having to rush back to check out. Enjoyed being able to stay on Mont St. Michel after the crowds had left.
Worried that shower spray would splash out of the tub area, since there was no curtain or guard. Did not realize until after parking, that hotel guests could park in the closer parking lot -- we parked in the general lot. Though it was only a bit more distance, it would have been good to know (or easily see from the road sign)that we could park in the closer lot.

Very clean. Right in the center of the island close to everything. Nice to go back to the hotel when you wanted to take a break from sight seeing.
Very difficult hauling our luggage up all the stairs. It would have been nice to have an elevator or help with the luggage. When you're a senior citizen it is difficult to carry all that weight.

Had a bath to do some washing. And a fridge.
Room was way over priced for the small area and the water pressure in the hand shower head in the bath was nigh on a dribble. The door lock was faulty as well.
