    "never again... 'chelsea house' is giving your website a bad reputation " (107198582)

    no good points at all

    we are supposed to stay for 4 nights... but we went off the next morning... during the night there is a funny smell in the room & we are furious to found out the next morning that there is a dried vomit at the side of the bed (against the wall...we took a photos and we will put it in the hotel review on the web within the next few days)... all of the Polish staff/manager are not apologetic about it + we are still charge for that night. of all the hotel we stayed that is the most horrible experience we had.

    "Probably not typical experience as it was Christmas night! But - they accepted our booking and should have made proper arrangements." (107663312)

    Freshly decorated and refurbished with new carpeting. Clean toilet/shower area. On bitterly cold day it was beautifully warm.

    No coffee/tea making facilities - our first in 10 years. No electric shaver point. Wet floor in bathroom. Poor communication. Left on freeezing doorstep 15 minutes with unanswered bell/mobile telephone. Directed to a cafe for breakfast which was closed.

    No tea making facilities, but hey there's a McDonalds right next door for a takeaway tea so not a problem one iota.

    Very clean, staff friendly and helpful.

    No Tea/coffee facilites but McDonalds right next door. Pillow extremely thin,and no extra pillows supplied.

    There was no kettle in our room. Check in closed at 11pm, which I wasnt informed about when booking the room. Room was very basic.

    Hotel is clean. Good size of room.

    No coffee/tea making facilities. Noise from the street during day and night, unfortunately Wandsworth Road is very noisy street.

    Accomodation is very clean.

    We were not able to check in until 3pm as Reception is closed until 3pm on Sundays -the booking stated check in from 12pm

    Check in was poor. No staff availble for over ten minutes while we waited outside ringing the bell and the phone. when staff arrived and asked reason for not answering, we were gruffly told that " well, we had to take a break" one expects after a long journey to be able to enter a hotel on arrival, and not wait outside on the street. For a B&B, would have been better to have kettle and tea/coffee making in rooms like as in travel lodges, especially if providing breakfast meant employing more staff. would have liked more towels ( face and bath).

    They managed to find us free parking

    It really couldn't be more basic and because it is on the main Wandsworth Road it is very noisy. This also isn't helped by being in front of a car wash which starts up at 7am. You also only get one pillow and you can hear people in the other rooms. Our friends also stayed in the hotel and they didn't even have any toilet paper in their room when they arrived.

    We stayed in the basement. When you came out of the room it was pitch black and we had to feel the walls for quite a long time until we found the light switch.

    "The room was nice, the bed was good, the equipment was new and the price was reasonable but the street noise was bad, even normal conversation was audible from the street so get a rear room and only the very noisy other occupants will cause you trouble." (107182576)

    newly refurbished

    very noisy street room; really required secondary glazing. Bathroom light was not working and no soap or shampoo was left for shower. A long way from the tube, and checkin had to be in person so we required a tube journey and a taxi just to retrieve the key, then all the back into town to go out for the evening.

    accomadation was just what i wanted basic and clean.

    As a smoker I think you's could open up the back yard, so people can sit out there in the nice weather, was'nt very nice to have to go out front for cigarette.

    The room was room enough for a couple to stay there over night, no bother and the staff was tolerant when we checked out 20 min. later.

    We did not get anz information brochure about connections from the city of London to our hostel.

    Our room was fine apart from the temperature. we had several other freinds staying at the smae time and everyone had the same complaint. Other than that the guesthouse is good value for money. Thanks

    the price in internet is 49.00 and at check in is 44.00

    IT's not a good area. The site of my booking delude the hotel to be near Victoria Station.There is not a lift. The luggage is heavy!

    Couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room. Good value for money.

    Tea making facilities are not available so i recommend buying a travel kettle! Although it says there is wifi, this is only if you are staying in a room on the ground floor, so don't expect to have access to the internet.

Cheap and affordable, this accomodation is perfect for the guest who wants the bare minimum and not pay the earth. However, be warned that there is a long walk from the tube/bus station and i would suggest jumping on a bus or taxi." (97531063)

    The price was fair for the services available. Very basic and simple room, purely for sleeping with no added extra's.

    The distance from the Vauxhaul tube station was described as a short walk. With bags to carry, a good 20-30 mins walk! I would suggest jumping on a bus for 4-5 stops down the road.

    Location

    General noise early morning from McDonalds next door (5-00am onwards). No remote for TV. No Tea/Coffee facilities,Unable to have windows open due to noise from aircraft landing at Heathrow constantly (on flight path). Lack of pillows (One - would have liked the option of more)

    Clean room with excellent shower.

    Parking is quite awkward as spaces are tight for a large van and some later arriving guests will ignore what reception says and will block you in without leaving a contact phone number.

    It was in a very good location with comfortable and clean rooms. The bathroom was small but the shower was very good.

    Rooms were very small and if you are on the basement floor the views are not much but this did not bother us.
