    "I would have liked to have known how far the car park was from the room as this would have made a difference to the booking, although I did enjoy the hotel and would book again but would allow for this." (97363288)

    the room, staff, and the available facilities although on this visit i did not have time to use them!

    as i have a lot of papers to carry around and suffer with arthritis, it was the distance having to carry bags/brief case from parking to the room.

    "We would have liked to have known our accomodation was not in the main building,but this did not detract from our enjoyment. The food was excellent in both the restaurant and brasserie." (97598538)

    Flexibility of room and facilities

    Access = steep stairs. Outside of building in need of cleaning and repair.

    "Surprising value for money with good swimming pool, gym and golf course/driving range . The food in the bar is decent with large screen with football etc, partly overlooking pool Stayed with kids who liked the pool/slide and sports hall there is a good sized skateboard park (not part of the club) as you come into the grounds on the right by the floodlights. There is some refurbishment (Feb 2007) going on which has reduced the sports hall to half its size so badminton court /table tennis were harder to book. Due to the refurb, the food was being served in the restaurant, not the bar. Worth getting a day pass 8pound 50 I think for Gym/Sauna/ Sports facility if you want to do some sport Apartments clean, decent microwave, cooker, TV etc. Opted for a 2 bedroom place the 2nd stay to give the kids more room, rather than share a double sofa bed."     "Excellent stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Outside of accomodation appears worn & dirty (not sure if this is an intentional effect?). Inside clean but a bit tatty - could do with updating. Windowpanes very worn looking. Brassersie - excellent food. Hot/fresh/tasty & well priced. Leisue facilites good - but towels should be provided for pool. Using room towels left the room short of towels when shoewer required next morning. (too late for houskeeping in the evening/too early in the morning!)Pool excellent but could not understand why water slide kept being turned on & off. I wish i had found you when my children were younger!! The childrens facilites look great. Driving rangewas excellent and the staff in the golf shop were very freindly and helpful." (3305301661)

    "Very comfortable apartment with all the facilities you could want. Both reception and restaurant staff very helpful and friendly. Very good food in both the bar and the restaurant. Although I did not have time to try them, the pool and golf facilities looked excellent. A very enjoyable, good value stay in a superb setting.     "Overall stay was good. The staff at the front desk were unhelpful at times and seemed disinterested in doing anything other than just getting you to book in and away from the desk. Because the China Fleet Club is also a leisure centre there were tmes the staff did appearmore interested in chatting to the regulars.     "I was extremley disappointed with the service at the hotel. I waited for 1.5hrs for reception to get back to me regarding my concern with the internet not working, and they came back and told me it wouldn't (???), I also ordered room service (salad and a jacket pot) that was supposed to be 10 mins and arrived 1 hour later (and the jackert was cold). The bar staff appeared un-trained and really not enjoying their job - not what i want to see." (99936725)

    This was a pleasant stay. As a business traveller, it is good to find a hotel with facilities, reasonable food & drink, privacy & in pleasant surroundings.

    I was unable to access the broadband- this may well have been user error or an IT issue with my laptop security. I would suggest that you install swimming costume spinner machines. These are v helpful as they can provide almost dry swimmos, ready for next swim.

    "Overall a pleasant enough stay overnight. Wouldn't want to stay for much longer though. The decor and furnishings are dull and old fashioned and although the bedrooms, kitchen and linen looked more or less clean they were all a bit 'past it' and therefore didn't really enhance our stay at all."
