    Lovely breakfast and plenty of it. Warm welcome, very friendly and helpful. Good size room (4 poster).

    Paintwork a little shabby in public areas,and personally, I don't like plastic tablecloths.

    Considerate landlord moved his car from the secure parking to allow our 5 bikes to park off road.

    Breakfast was not brilliant.

    Clare house Host gave us on-line directions to find Clare house. Very easy to find. Host was very informative, gave us ride to Castle, just because. Neat, clean and very polite. Rooms were excellent, comfortable, bright and cheery. Breakfast was great!

    "We came for the week end from France to visit Kent and found this lovely place for our night in Dover. We were on foot so we had to walk from the ferry port (30mins) but you have the bus shuttle (port - rail station) for 2£. The room was just as expected and our guest took some time to answer our questions about the city. The English breakfast was good too !" (107722222)

    - Overall atmosphere - Warm welcome from our host - Breakfast - Room space, decent equipment - Proximity with the train station

    - A bit far from the city center and the ferry port - Online booking did not clearly stated that we had to actually pay once arrived. (Have cash or your credit card (+2£ charge) with you).

    "WE found our short stay relaxing and cosy. The staff member was very helpful in regards to helping us find things about town and serving us breakfast, he was overall very kind and helpful. We would have appreciated some help with taking our bags up to our room up the little staircase, and the reception area was a tight squeeze considering our luggage and other patrons trying to get in and out of the hotel with their luggage. We were fairly content that the information we recieved beforehand was surfice." (97576549)

    The Hotel was in a good location. Nice Atomesphere and welcoming staff.

    The sheets on our bed were so worn they had holes in them. The window in the bathroom was broken.

    The hotel was very easy to find by the directions given on the web page.The staff was very frendly. It was our first stay at this hotel and would book again.
