    "Given that I was visiting to visit old people in hospital I required a room to rest my weary head and your hotel was admirable for the purpose." (108938017)

    Warm welcome. The eating venue was perfectly acceptable with a range of choices. Having the main course served to the table was good touch in that the food arrived hot.

    Very calming atmosphere. You do not fall over chamber maids and trolleys in the morning waiting to get into your room! Lovely well kept grounds.

    Traffic can be an issue if on road side. I had a road side room before and like to sleep with the window open when it is close/hot. Air conditioning could assist there.

    Comfortable, reasonably priced accommodation. Good breakfast and an excellent dinner at the Lord Moreton pub next door Garden centre a good idea, given the location of the accommodation.

    Everything was neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was good--right on the edge of village and near the motorway.

    Staff excellent, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

    "Our second stay at this hotel en route to Mid Wales. We love the two-tier rooms with gallery bedroom area; these provide far more space than in the usual hotel rooms. Very friendly staff, both in the hotel and in the restaurant/bar next door. We will definitely return. " (107948698)

    Size and layout of the rooms: plenty of space. Free use of in-room safe. Undercover link to the pub next door where the food is decent and reasonably priced, two real ales available at the bar and the breakfast was generous. Ample parking.

    Great value for money. Breakfast good quality and inluded in the price, in fact all the food we had at the Lord Morton was excellent! The staff we encountered were very helpful and polite.

    Hotel room could maybe do with re-decorating.

    "Excellent location for visiting Llangollen, Ceiriog Valley, Oswestry, Wrexham. Sister Hotel the Lions Quay is close by if more facilities are preferred." (107236346)

    Very clean, light and airy and well furnished. Plenty of complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits in room. 10% discount in adjoining restaurant. Staff very pleasant.

    There was some traffic noise from A5 which ran behind hotel - not really a problem as the windows are doubleglazed.

    preferring to spend evenings in my room, rather than a bar, I would happily have given up a sports channel in favour of a general entertainment channel on the TV. WiFi internet access should be a standard facility.

    Very nice appearance--nice to have a garden center next door. Good food at your restaurant that evening. Spacious and comfortable room. Good location for exploring nearby towns and sights.

    The highway noise behind the hotel was quite loud til later at night.

    Breakfast was excellent - plenty of variety and very nicely cooked and presented. The staff were also extremely helpful and curteous.

    The room was in need of some refurbishment - the carpet and sofa were both a little grubby.

    "The accomodation was really fantastic. the only downside was the adjoining pub/restaurant that was used for breakfast. It was understaffed and everyone had a long wait for their breakfast." (97801128)

    The accomodation was excellent and is highly recommended

    I would have liked the option of a radio/dvd player. These are common these days and would have been a nice touch.

    Local to party venue

    Food from other guests room service left in passageway with resulting smell drifting around. The food was there when we checked in on sat and still there sunday at 11.00
