    "A good hotel in a central location in St. Helier. Just two minutes walk from the bus station, which can (cheaply) get you just about anywhere on the island. Close to all the main shops, pubs and restaurants in St. Helier. Tip - Use the buses to get to/from the airport. Cost in a taxi= £15 . Cost per person on the bus= £1.50" (107720342)

    Central location. Good Breakfasts. Clean rooms and generally good service.

    Easy walking distance to most amenities in town. Attentive staff in transition from "do you want" to "would you like"

    It is good if staff whose native tongue is not that of the guest(s) receive instructions and have conversations out of guest earshot

    "Excellent holiday and the hotel Pomme D'Or is central to shops and bus station. Would recommend" (97247416)

    Jersey very easy to reach from local airport and local bus transportation good value and easy to use for sites around the island. Good hotels to choose from and plenty of restaurants offering different menus.

    Roads very busy and some of the bus stops on busy roads with no obvious safe place to stand and wait for bus arrival

    "We would certainly stay at this hotel again. We found it to be central for all public transport facilities. The food in the restaurant was first class, particularly the fish buffet on Friday night, but you do need to book as it is extremely popular with the locals. " (97174889)

    Very central hotel - ideal particularly if you do not hire a car. You are close to the bus station and the ferry terminal. Staff very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much. The fish buffet on a Friday night should not be missed, good value for money.

    Excellent position. Good value in view of location.

    No facilities for smokers although this would be ideal for those who do not partake.

    i loved everything it was clean fresh airconditioned it was great even bed was confortably i,m disabled and i slept well

    "I would like to be informed during my booking about possibility of having a view of noisy air-con plant from my widow with not much sky to be seen. For just a transit overnight stay it would be OK but for 4 nights holiday stay it was very disappointing. Otherwise it was very enjoyable Suggestion if I may, I know that most Brits find warm beer acceptable but we from Australia love to have our drinks icy cold, could you possibly consider installing bar fridges in Hotel rooms please."     location superb for business

    staff in restaurant seem to have nothing better to do but stare at you while you eat i think there time could be better spent attending to clients needs and by the way these were not the waiters I must add but the so called management
