    "I've stayed in many "4*" airport hotels at Heathrow and this is the first hotel that I actually enjoyed my stay in. " (108775430)

    The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean.

    Room service and internet were both very expensive.

    Staff service terrific. Swimming pool a big draw for us, a family with small kids.

    Food was adequate, but could be better, I think.

    Requested room change as we needed a twin and not the double we were offered - no problem - changed immediately. Prompt room service.

    "Fair. We did get a much better rate than their posted rate because we book through Acitve Holtels." (108049784)

    Hotel was close to Heathrow airport. Everything was nice and clean.

    We didn't receive the extra cot that we asked for. Our dinner reservation was made incorrectly. In the morning we booked a taxi at the front desk and when we stepped out the front door another staff member said that he looked after the taxi's and cancelled the one that we had booked and put us in a private hire car that charged almost twice as much to take us to the airport. There seemed to be poor communication between staff members.

    "I throughly enjoyed my short stay, and would recomend the hotel to any one who needs accomodation for long or short stays.The accomodation is comfortable,clean and very up market. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal in my room and also breakfast the next day. Thank you for the great service." (97434007)

    It was clean comfortable and very relaxing.

    There was no hair dryer.

    "The hotel was lovely. The room was a good size and we only had a standard double. The drinks were very expensive, however the evening meal in the hotel restaurant was absolutely gorgeous. We only had enough room for the main course. The flavours were subtle. The food was fresh and the portion wasn't too large or too small. The breakfast is well worth having. Once again we had room for fruits and a small full English. They had vegetarian sausages to order. The only thing was the distance the hotel was from Uxbridge. There was a bus that passed near the hotel but was a little far out. Next time we stay we will be taking the car. Although the cost of the hotel was okay we would have preferred the cost of the room to include the VAT when we first booked. A hotel we would definitely recommend." (97832042)

    The food was excellent and good value for money

    the location was very far from Uxbridge town centre and the bus stop was quite a distance from the hotel.

    "The good bits: The hotel itself is well situated and easy to find. The rooms and public areas are in good order. The leisure club was clean and fully functioning. The staff are polite and friendly. The bad bits: The bar and restaurant prices are extortionate. The restaurant food is no more than adequate. The staff, although willing and friendly, are not terribly efficient- (We waited an hour for our first course, and gave up waiting to order a sweet). Maybe they were short-staffed? On checkout, we were overcharged by 20% on the meal and 100% on the car parking, and for an item from the minibar that we had only moved .... it took considerable persistence to get the bill to the correct amount. The overall impression is of a hotel management desperate to wring every last penny out of its guests- and that is unfortunate." (97856454)

    The room was clean, spacious and well equipped.

    The windows would not open- so no fresh air, just aircon.

    "Generally the hotel was of good standard and we would be happy to stay there again, but maybe we would eat out for more choice and lower cost of childrens meals." (97349794)

    Good location for local tourist attractions. Hotel and room of good standard, clean and comfortable.

    Unfortunately the flush on the toilet was very poor. The cost of the room service breakfast was very expensive.

    "We stayed just after Christmas and unknown until we arrived, all restaurants and bars were shut for the duration except for one. The one that was open was short staffed and rude service. Food was poor and did not match the description on the menu. Service was awful." (99834242)

    It was good and all rooms that I booked (9 rooms) were of the same standard and all my guest were happy.
