    Excellent location for Kew Gardens and the National Archive. Friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of beverages provided for room self-service. Excellent breakfast included in booking.

    Secondary glazing effective but unattractive. Would have preferred to open a window rather than use the air conditioning. Bathroom door did not shut properly.

    "Adequate for our stay. The breakfasts were fine but the evening meal poor and expensive for what was offered. We had only one meal and the other evenings we ate at the nearby "Wine and Moussaka" restaurant-which we enjoyed. " (107420717)

    Shower and provision of towels good, bed comfortable. Easy walking distancwe to National Archives where we wished to do some work.(This being the the sole purpose of our stay). The staff were very helpful

    Not enough space inthe room-no wardrobe with hanging space Insufficient drawers The whole hotel is ready for redecoration and some re-furbishment. The invoice was wrong and poorly set out and, although I paid it in full because our taxi was expected and we had a train to catch, I have complained to Youngs.

    "We were comfortable and slept well and staff were v.helpful and v.pleasant so we did enjoy our stay," (107607482)

    Staff friendly and efficient and waiting staff at breakfast even more so. Room clean and comfortable.

    We were put off by the entrance to the hotel- not clean outside the door, doors and windows peeling paint etc and on entering the hotel there was an overwhelming smell of old fat. This was not apparent in the reception area so much and not at all in our room which was clean and comfortable.

    we were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of our room. Also it was great to have air conditioning! Our room was surprisingly quiet considering that the hotel is on a busy road. We enjoyed being able to open our window to let in the fresh air. The hotel is in a wonderful setting with the village green across the road and the duck pond down the street. We especially enjoyed the walk along the river Thames, which was close by.

    We found the hotel rather shabby in appearance. A fresh coat of paint and some work on the entrance would enhance the place immensely. We had breakfast there for 3 mornings and although the food and choices were good, found it rather greasy.

    Well placed for travel into London.

    Poinbted out to staff that someone had double parked over two spaces. They said it was not a staying customer so could do nothing about it. Can they not shout in the bar? Seems completely unfair to paying guests!!

    Friendly staff who did all they could to make our stay a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

    Not one to be had, other than we did not get to stay long enough! We will try and stay longer next time!

    "The staff were curtious. Rooms were clean. Parking was good, undergound and safe. The restuarant was OK and the hotel has a good large bar. The hotel is in a good setting overlooking Kew Green and very ideally situated to visit Kew Gardens, you just have to walk across the green and into the main entrance." (97122188)

    "Nothing is too much trouble--was the attitude of the entire staff who worked hard to make our stay really pleasant and pleasureable. The carparking situation was excellent and free, and it was a genuine reflection of the advert on your website--thank you!" (97104096)

    I sought out the manager when we left to compliment her staff during the extremely pleasant stay we had at the Coach and Horses. Everyone, from the bar staff to the waitresses, reception and the cleaning staff were cheerful, helpful and professional. The food was excellent, good value for money, and well presented. I would recommend the Coach and Horses without hesitation, and we will certainly be returning on our next visit to the area.

    "My overnight stay in the hotel was good, staff were helpful the room was clean and the full English breakfast was excellent one of the best I've ever had in a hotel, car parking under the hotel felt secure with cctv, I will stay here again, provided I can get a secure internet connection.     "Hotel price included under-ground parking. When we stayed the hotel was quite quiet and parking was not a problem however could imagine it could be a nightmare if more guests as some are selfish in parking ie take up two spaces. Full english breakfast also included (choose off a menu) Fresh orange juice a bonus as you normally get the cheap stuff!" (97459301)

    Staff treat the guests as individuals and aim to please. Supplied the requested bedding as b-friend is alleric to loads of stuff! Breakfast was served promptly.

    The alarm clock being set by a prior guest for 7am. The clock had not being put back an hr, so it was actually 6am when the alarm went off!!!

    The Coach and Horses has a unique combination - a real ale good food pub at the front and a top quality hotel behind, all run by friendly and efficient staff who obviously care about the quality of the service they offer. And that's without mentioning the superb location of this historic coaching inn!

    External cooling fans quite noisey.

    "The Coach & Horses overlooks Kew Green, just by Kew Gardens, and is in a delightful setting. My room was very good, although the air conditioning was rather noisy. The cooked breakfast was scrumptious but unfortunately on both mornings I was there, they were very busy and the waitresses had difficulty coping. On the first morning I had to wait 20 - 25 minutes before being served, and then had to repeat parts of my order at least 3 times. However this is my only real criticism of the Hotel." (99990078)

    "As I used to live somewhat locally to the hotel I knew what to expect and I can't really moan about anything really, without being overcritical! It was an unusually nice and uneventful stay altogether! We plan to return soon!" (97647716)

    The room was clean, modern and pleasant. The inclusive breakfast was unusually pleasing, without the usual argument as to whether we had English or Continental or whether the toast or juice was extra, etc. Well cooked and substatial to boot!

    No downside really - apart from lazy and inconsierate parking by other customers in the basement car park - nothing that the management could change of course!

As this was the first time we had booked a hotel on line with priceline we did wonder what the accommodation would be like but as it turned out we were really pleased with everything. We have also booked a hotel in Dublin in August and also one in Bournemouth in September and because of the standard of this hotel we have every confidence that these two hotels will be of a high standard."     It was cleana dn very relaxed with freindly staff

    The food had the potential to be very good, however, the beef for Sunday lunch was very tough and the poached eggs for breakfast was hard as rock. I don't understand why professional chef's cannot get basics right! Although to be fair when I complained about the beef on Sunday they did offer me a free pudding so at least someone took notice of my complaint.

    "I did think the hotel was closer to Hampton Court Palace, which was the main reason for our stay. However, it was very reasonably priced, the food in the restaurant was excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful and overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to any of my friends. The taxi service which was booked for our use was superb and the taxi driver couldn't have been more helpful. On the day of our departure, he took us to Hampton Court Palace, brought us back again in the afternoon to the hotel to pick up our luggage, and then drove us back to Liverpool St Station in time to catch our train home.
