    The location was convenient, easy to find and the Hotel was clean and efficient. The bedroom was well equipped.

    The breakfast was buffet style and the warmed items suffered from drying out etc. Would prefer at least a bit of carpet on the bedroom floor.

    The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel/rooms were clean and well equiped! Breakfast on both days was delicious!

    Unfortunately one of the sockets in one of the rooms was not working, however, we were furnished with an extension as soon as we advised the reception of the situation.

    Clean, easy to find. Good location for the motorway.

    Poor service. Had to wait ten minutes at the front desk before I could check in. Rooms are sterile and lacking any charm. This hotel, like many others, is akin to having the keys to your own prison cell. The car park was very exposed (not enclosed - no security), lots of kids hanging around. The walls in the rooms are so thin I could hear people talking two rooms down! This hotel is very typical of the modern trend of establishments - they want to squeeze every possible penny out of the facility and it shows through shortage of staff, basic facilities and a forgetful experience.

    Lovely hotel, very modern, very friendly and helpful staff, would definitely stay again.

    There was a large Christmas party going on, but this was not a problem at all - We were still aloud to use the hotel bar etc. The problem I had was that some of the guests seemed to carry the party on into the room next to me, until 4am. Then all went quiet for 2 hours, then people kept turning up, slamming the door from 6am till 8am...I don't blame the hotel at all for this, as I know I could have complained and I have absolutely no doubt that something would have been done about it.

    "Excellent value for money,but spoilt by the too relaxed behavior of the staff. One member of staff, a very smart asian man really showed how it should be done and was outstanding, he was in the restaurant on Sunday morning with a bandage on his thumb." (107280471)

    Value for money and very good breakfast.

    On a few occasions I was amazed at the totally unproffessional behavior of the staff including I assume the manager. On Sunday when the market was on the nearby car park, two of the attendants came into reception and used really foul language whilst laughing anf joking with staff at reception. On Saturday evening about 1730 I assume it was the manager in a grey suit and about 5 staff stood in front and behind reception laughing and joking about xmas functions. On Saturday morning the restaurant had not got any clean glasses for juice, we were amazed that we were given pint glasses from behind the bar. The kettle and heating in th eroom were not working and took some time to put right.

    "The whole experience was a total disaster. I was staying in the hotel with my grown up daughter and my 5 month old granddaughter whilst my other daughter was in Walsall Manor hospital having serious stomach surgery. Some rowdy youths were making a racket in the corridors, and despite several calls to reception, nothing was done to alleviate the situation. A row ensued and we were eventually moved to a quieter room when we threatened to go home. We didn't get to sleep until past 6 oclock so we missed breakfast. The day staff had no idea what had happened during the night. We refused to pay and came home, forcing us to travel into Walsall for 4 days instead of being on hand near the hospital. A horrible experience and very badly managed. I will never use the hotel again " (107447609)

    lack of action from staff when disruptive teenagers disturbed night's sleep and woke sleeping baby. Lack of understanding from morning staff as to the problems encountedred during the night. No communication between night staff and day staff.

    The hotel was very clean, welcoming and good value for money. Most of the staff were very helpful.

    At around 3:30 am there was a lot of noise made by other guests on our floor. Lots of other guests were telling them to be quiet and called holtel staff however it carried on for a further 2 hours. Some of the noise made was by people who weren't even guests staying at the hotel and they were not turned away. The following morninf, after talking to other hotel guests, it was found that many people had been reimbursed some money from their stay. When we were checking out we mentioned this to the member of staff and she said that the police had been called however there was no appology. Also, an additional member of staff continued to carry on a conversation with the member of staff present and they were talking about how the other guests had had their money returned but nothing was offered to my boyfriend and I which I thought was a little nproffessional and disrespectful!

    check in staff were friendly. The hotel was very clean. The room was nice if a little small. bathroom was spotless. Used the restaurant each night and highly recommend it and staff very friendly. Breakfast was just as good. If you stay on a saturday night there is a market on at the football ground on sunday morning, worth a visit. Not far from birmingham city centre.

    check out staff not member not very friendly. The hotel room had no wardrobe or enough drawers. the sofa bed was very uncomfortable for older children. Would be better if they had twin beds in the family rooms for older children or if you were given the choice when you book. the room was very small compared to other hotel family rooms we have used at other hotels.

    The hotel was clean and was basically comfortable. Common areas were clean and well presented.

    The service was slightly impersonal, there was some damage in the room that hadnt been fixed prior to our arrival.

    "The rooms were of good quality. I only booked it as thy had a good deal n a saturday night. The reception area was nice and clean. However the reception lady was very miserable. Check inn was very quick, which some might say is a good thing hiwever I was only told my room number and thats it. I wasnt even told that breakfast was included in the rate of room, so we never came down. You could argue I should have known when booking the room, however would have been nice to be told what time breakfast was started. Check out is at 12pm, we got a call spot on 12pm saying we had to leave the hotel. Overall was nice and clean, was recommend only if you get good deal, approx £35-40, otherwise stay away from the unhelpful staff." (97227788)

    "I was generally quite happy with my stay, however I found that on a night the hotel was quite noisy, due to other younger occupants on the floor and the adjacent motorway.     Was advised that the room included a power shower. This was not the case and I received what I believe was a standard thermostatic shower which was not very powerful.

    "Booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children. No bed linen or pillows for childrens pull our sofa bed. Asked reception and they stated that I didn't ask for any special requirements!!! Promised some bed linen and never turned up. Went back to reception again and got promised again in ten minutes (2am) finally turned up an 02:10am. Staff used hoover all through breakfast!!!     Easy to book, close to motorway network and easy to find. Very good value for money, pleasant staff and good food.

    Only that the bed was hard but that is our personal opinion and appreciate that you have a lot of people to please.
