    booking online was very easy and convenient and i liked most the map and the location where every hotel is situated.

    on checking in the hotel was closed.my whole family and myself waited outside in the freezing cold for 40minutes ringing the bell and as well called the owner with overseas charges twice and he was hesitant what to do! the hotel room was extremly small with very very shabby furniture.the wooden floor did alot of noise and the tv never worked eventhough we talked to the owner several times,he just ignored us.the kids wanted to watch tv but for the whole 3 nights the tv never worked. regarding cleanliness-its a whole disgrace-carpet was full of dust,the mugs were stuck on the plastic filty tray,the duvet was soiled and cobwebs everywhere including the bathroom! regarding breakfast-oh yes this is funny!one day you are served baked beans the next day they dont have baked beans!the last day having our breakfast we asked for some toast and he the owner told us that he ran out of bread!funnily enough there were only 10 people staying in the hotel that day and he ran out of bread! that same time during the breakfast,after 5 minutes,i went looking for the owner to ask him about checking out,and guess what! he was in the kitchen with a whole big bread loaf doing toast for himself!! the hotel owner being a lier to his own customers infront of their own eyes! unbelievable! on checking out i asked if its possible to keep one suitcase downstairs, just to grab some things from the shopping mall and be back in less than one hour,rather than going to the shopping mall with 2 kids,3 bags and a suitcase.his answer was "No,we are closed"! what a hospitability!

    "For what we paid for and what we needed the hotel was ideal, the only down side was the cold shower (it was November/December when we went so it was quite cold).The staff were friendly and helpful and provided a good customer service level and we completly got our money's worth. Twenty five pound each for two nights was brilliant, the rooms were basic but it was alot better than what I expected for the price.I would go back again as its near to all the attractions and there was even breakfast included!"     For the price we paid we had a very clean room and got our money worths

    The shower was not too brilliant as there was no hot water and it drizzled out.

    The breakfast was great, and very fast service for breakfast as well.

    The room was small the shower had no hot water, the window did not fit properly therefore it never closed, to start with the t.v never work, and our lightbulb was broke,

    "If you have any expectations or this is a special occasion, this hotel could be disappointing. As the organiser of the group who stayed, I was totally embarrassed that I'd arranged for the others to stay here." (97554035)

    Breakfast ok. Night porter was kind, but his lack of English was a bit of a problem.

    Two of group had to change rooms due to lots of damp & mould and a broken mattress. Had to ask for assistance to get TV working as it had a coinbox attached and needed a folded-up piece of paper in a groove to turn on the power! Two of the rooms had to ask for assistance to turn on the shower - mine because the shower dial just spun around and you had to turn the water at the pipe before the shower to get it running. From my room, I could hear EVERYONE opening & closing doors on my floor (kept having to look at the room door as each time it sounded like someone was entering my room), plus could hear all those walking up and down the stairs, which resulted in 2 sleepless nights. Whole hotel needs a revamp - simply not good enough - guests expected to make do with broken fixtures and fitting instead of hotel simply being in good order. Bar area smelt of very strong cooking smells on arrival, so no encouragement to sit in bar. On the Saturday night, extremely loud music was played from the bar - couldn't see anyone in the bar requiring this music - but it boomed through the whole hotel - just grateful it stopped at 1am.

    "Our basement room was dark and dingy and had no heating working at all and was extremeley cold. Room was reasonably clean but in need of decoration. There was a lack of lighting only one dim ceiling light, no reading lights or lamps and a lack of electric sockets. Poorly furnished with one very rickety wardrobe, one bedside cabinet and one chair. Bed was reasonably comfortable although slightly lumpy. The bathroom was so small that its use required gymnastic ability! However as it was absolutely freezing in the bathroom it was too cold to use this room and we were unable to shower. Communal areas were in need of cleaning and there was broken glass in the corridor near our room. Staff tried to be helpful and when we complained about the lack of heating supplied us with an open bar electric fire which did help slightly although as soon as it was turned off the room was freezing again. The dining room was clean and nicely decorated but again had no heating working and was very cold. Food was acceptable and there was plenty of it but served at one huge table. Overall we felt it was very poor value for money and would certainly not recommend it." (99152857)

    Main problem was that there was no heating and as our stay was in January it was absolutely freezing

    "Over all the hotel is fine,id say be better in summer when warm and full of people.Its a basic hotel but comfortable.we went in early jan when season was quiet. The owner made our stay very nice and he is a very good host.He even waved us off in the taxi and called my son by name.my little boy loved him...he had a personal touch.He couldnt have been more helpful to us.Thanks to him. Just get a hairdryer in for the girls ok..my hair was a mess ha ha!!" (99835097)

    The owner was a gem..really friendly and helpful.went out of his way to help us.He also had great time for kids and played with my little boy.The breakfast was fresh and tasty.And the beds were soft and comfy.

    I would have liking a shower,there was a bath which pleased my son but I like to have a shower and no hairdryer or shampoo but we got by,Also the door didnt lock from inside and always feel safer when I can click the lock at night.

    Basic adequate for a short stay and central

    "This family run hotel will do everything in their power to make your stay here as enjoyable as possible. This is the most hospitable friendly hotel i have ever stayed in. Although cheap and a lower graded hotel the service is second to none. If you want cheap cheerful with a helpful friendly atmosphere this is the place to stay!" (99960848)

    It was warm and the bed was Clean. Plenty of tea and Coffee.

    "Overall we stayed in this hotel as a party of 5 - one double room and one triple room - the triple room actually turned out to be 2 double connecting rooms which was good. Both rooms were ensuite with good shower facilities. The rooms were small but clean.     "Considering that this was quite a large hotel, we thought it would of been alot more up-to-date. Our rooms looked liked they hadnt been decorated since the 1980's! The hotel smelt damp. The room which I stayed in had a hole in the ceiling, a bath with black burn marks in it with no hot water and no shower. I dont think we will be going back there again in a hurry." (99400400)

    "the accommodation was overall good.it was more for people wanting to have fun then young families. the doors were open all the time and there was always people outside to chat to which was good. the food was nice minus the mushrooms. the meals were good value for money. i would defo recomend it for people wanting to have fun. ohh there was also a disco downstairs which was opened which was ace with a pool table too. everyone was friendly."     "after confirming with this hotel that it catered for young children and did not take bookings from parties of young adults of the same sex i was happy to book our weekend break.on arriving at the hotel i was dismayed to discover a number of young parties obviously there for a fun weekend!!.On being allocated our adjoining family room i discusted to find dead insects over the bathroom floor and dirt in the childrens bedroom, it looked as if the room had not been used or cleaned for a very long time, needless to say i demanded a full refund as niether myself or my children could stay in a hotel of this standard.the only positive comment i have about this hotel are that the staff were obliging and could not have been more helpfull."     "Good sized room, decor could have done with updating. Bedroom was cleanish but bathroom was not. Room was quiet and we were not disturbed during our stay. Good location and staff did well to help with difficulties, however many were foreign and could not understand English well, but they did do their best and problems were sloved quickly. Housekeeping would knock then barge into the room, without waiting for the door to be answered. Why bother knocking if you are just going to barge in anyway?" (3305025127)

    No shower, hot water tank needed two hours to heat enough water to heat bath. The water came out with black bits in it. The bathroom needed a good clean.

    "Would never stay there again, probably okay for same sex groups having a boozy weekend, but certainly not families. The only good point is that the staff were very friendly and helpful so have no issue with them. We were on the 3rd floor and the lift didn't work on the last day so we had to carry all our luggage down the stairs. Next time I book to stay in Blackpool I will make sure the hotel/guest house only caters for couples and families, would never make the same mistake again." (3304450630)

    Nothing.

    There was a used baby wipe, a false nail and a cigarette stub under the bed, the bath was unclean and had an insect in it. I booked 2 other rooms for friends and they were also kept awake by noisy parties on the 2nd floor. There were 2 rooms of noisy male/female groups next to us, who kept us awake most of the night on both nights, and a there was a strong smell of drugs drifting into our room on one occasion.
