    There are non we was conned out of 30 pound more when the originally booking online was 45.00!

    everything was bad and honestly i shall not be recommending a stay with you from any of my friends and family and am also processing a comlaint against the branch we stayed at norfolk house hotel in thornton heath croydon

    "OK if you're on a budget and not expecting a nice breakfast!" (108748911)

    Facilities were clean and it had an extra bed in the room for our toddler.

    Staff were not very helpful - One member of staff told us one of our drinks was cold enough when we asked to have it with ice, and wouldn't give us ice in the drink! (Although he put ice into another one we ordered a few minutes later!) The staff at breakfast could not tell us whether the milk was full fat (for the benefit of our toddler) and the continental breakfast spread offered the least possible variety imaginable! We asked for the full english and were made to go and pay for it at reception first, even though we were there for another night. My Mother's room had 2 cables trailed across the floor which couldn't be moved (health & safety!!!) and there was no lift (my Mother cannot manage stairs very well and unfortunately we were on the 2nd floor).

    all fur coat and no knickers, frot of the hotel and bar area modern,room out of the 1940's,blown plaster, poorly repaired doors,no sink plug, blocked drainage fron both bath and basin,very very poor qyuality rooms.full english breakfast , sorry no way, total waste of time putting such small portions on a side plate

    Friendly staff. Free Parking.

    Continental breakfast restricted to cereal and toast (no pastries/croisants). Fresh coffee not available (machine not working). Hotel on lots of different levels, no lifts.

    The entrance and public rooms as you came into the hotel were smart and tidy. The breakfast room was very acceptable. The bedroom was warm.

    The overall appearance of the bedroom was shabby. Reminded us of our university hostel rooms.Basic furniture. My husband was looking forward to sitting in a comfortable chair in the room whilst I got ready.

    location very near to croyden town centre, and easy access on bus, underground etc. Everything on your door step. Budget hotel if you are looking just to rest your head. staff are friendly.

    Breakfast - not really impressed, continental breakfast only which consisted of cereal and juices, tea and coffee. if you dont like this offer you have to pay for english breakfast, though cheap not much on offer.

    The reception area,bars and lounge and dining areas were superb.

    The cleanliness and comfort of the room could not be faulted but the bathroom area showed signes of deterioration and age. Also perhaps i was unlucky at the time of my stay but there was a lot of outside noise from the activities from ther nearby mosque during the saturday night and early hours of sunday morning.

    The double bed was very uncomfortable due mainly to the gap in the middle of the supporting divan base. The room fan just created a very loud noise, so had to be switched off even though it was a hot evening. The breakfast said continental, but in fact was just cereal and toast.

    for a 2* hotel it was adequote but there is definate room for improvement. bedding and towels laundered to good standard. quick checkin/out. reasonable parking facilities.

    aircon would be an advantage as if the windows were open to cool the room the outside noise especially the sirens from the near by hospital make it very difficult to sleep. Fire regulations not adhered to as fire doors were wedged open. Poor bar facilities- no change, poor staffing they need to improve their communication skills and manners.

    Room was nice & clean.Breakfast was OK but not enough for an adult I suppose.

    The receptionist was awful .She was not helpful at all. She gave me directions to the room which was very difficult to follow.For me,it was like playing in a maze. A lot of disturbances at the middle of the night as lots of drunken females were shouting( some were demanding money).I was wondering whether I had mistakenly come to a BROTHEL!So awful.I was not able to sleep well in spite of the fact I had to attend to an important seminar at the hospital in the next day morning.

    The hotel and the room was really clean and tired, staff where friendly and helpful..

    The room was too hot needed a fan in there or something because even with the window open it was still to hot...and the iron in the room that i was staying in didnt work.

    "Not enjoyable for a family. Probably okay for builders/tradesmen working on a site in London area for a week or less. Advertised Full English Breakfast included in rate but it wasn't. In fact we didn't bother with breakfast on morning of departure as so disappointed. Probably was a 3 star hotel 30 years ago but would only give it 1 star at the most as it really needs updating (& inspecting!) Definitely not a disabled friendly hotel, so many stairs and no lift.     Cheap price for London area. Bed fairly comfortable. Hotel handy for Wimbledon & central London as it has good transport links.

    Bathroom was unclean, toilet did not flush properly. Bedhead lights obstructed pillows, so bed had to pulled out to avoid banging head on light& suspect electrics. Mirror with overhead light in wrong position to use for applying makeup/lipstick etc. Full (half!) English Breakfast consisted of orange juice, bowl of cereal and toast which you made yourself, + tea/coffee from an urn, and then took to an empty table with no cutlery on it (Tesco Cafe style!). Car park at rear used for tradesmen vans (difficult to park in on Monday 22nd June)

    Dont take tthis as bad comment or point its just a suggesstion tht after booking your admin has to give a confirmation call so that people who booked is also satisfy that payment has been done and room has booked,because this time we have face the same problem I have paid thru my sister card and received a msg that room booked and when we reach hotel we come to know that payment has not been credited.So keep in mind that before coming of the client you have send a confirmation call or mail for the same.

    The staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable and the food was nice.

    The shower didnt stay in the holder when switched on and soaked the bathroom including the towels provided so had to dry off with damp towels.The bar shut so when we got there we could only have a coke from the machine.

    Staff very friendly and helpful.

    I don't think any surface in our room had seen a duster for several days. Furniture had been moved and not put back in the right place; (bedside table was on the other side of the room.)Even though a full english breakfast was included, we had to go and search for someone to provide it.

    Great value for money,friendly staff and ideal location, with good transport links.

    Internal decor is clean and functional however, is a little drab. Could improve the eve meal as a bar meal is a little basic.

    very noisey rooms very squeeky floor boards you can hear all when next door guest gets up moves around and when all doors slam shut what ever time people go past your room the bed matresses are very hard and had a very uncomfortable nights sleep and went down to book out and say somethink the man was on his personell mobile chatting about his credit cards and statement ............
