    "The hotel was set in peaceful surroundings, the accomodation was maintained to a very high standard. The food was first class and plenty of it. You felt very welcomed and the hotel and a lovely feeling about it. I would definately go back again and highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away from it and relax and to be guaranteed wonderful hospitality." (99579299)

    "enjoyed pracically everything about this hotel, especially the cosy sitting rooms with newspapers available and the food was just excellent - the staff are all friendly and efficient - thought the bedroom could do with a makeover though but overall, very good value for money - would love to return in the spring or summer" (99847403)

    beautifully situated hotel, very friendly and efficient staff, cosy and welcoming atmosphere, excellent food

    did not particularly like the decor in the bedroom, there was no hairdryer - probably been nicked but a check should have been made beforehand

    The rooms are comfortable and unpretentious. The views are magnificent. It has a real country house feel

    "Hotel is in a very secluded area but we did think it was a little pricey. We asked for breakfast in our room and were slightly disappointed with what was delivered. Evening meal was ok although the wine was very expensive and was served far too cold." (99967696)

    "The hotel is ideal for those who either want a relaxing break or those who enjoy walking in beutiful surroundings. The hotel grounds are ideal to spend time unwinding. Food is excellent and staff are welcoming and efficient. The county of Shropshire is probably one of the least appreciated destinations, but has plenty to offer those looking to get away from it all.     It was a very picturess place to stay, really liked the jucuzi and the gardens wer very nice. would stay there again.

    Wonderfully peaceful location and great food.

    Steep steps to coachhouse room, quite slippery when wet. Inadequate handrails.

    The hotel had character and the staff were very friendly and the accommodation was clean and tidy.

    We booked this room because it stated you would have a jacuzi or a patio. It should state one or the other as we were disappointed when we didn't have a jacuzi.
