    The space and facilities which allowed me and a colleague to work on site.

    The room was quite small, the bed especially short however it served the need at a reasonable price.

    all in all it was a really good stop off point

    the only bad point I come across is that the irons were in constant use, so was unable to iron my shirt the night before or that morning

    Basic clean comfortable room and bed. Close to city centre and after 6pm plenty of on street parking in area.

    A slightly later check out time would be better in line with other hotels

    Rooms were very clean and the staff at reception was helpfull,it was close to where we were going to villa park.

    Bar was not open so had to go to town.Could not book in to 2 oclock,it would of been helpfull if there was a shop on site.

    Very well placed for visiting the university, a very nice airy reception area. The room was well equipped. A lot of thought given to being environment friendly, fair trade coffee/tea in the room etc.

    Noise of the ventilator in the bathroom. As to the booking procedure on the internet, it is such a pity that another person cannot make a reservation for you, i.e., the name of the guest and the credit card owner cannot be different. So afterwards all the fuss in the hotel to change the names etc.

    Hygiene and quality of rooms. Space, size of bed. Overall a beautiful place to stay. Own safe in room for your valuables.

    A small amount of room beverage, eg. coffee, milk ect. No freeview or additonal channels on t.v.

    i booked on the internet, had confirmation printed off and code, when arriving at hotel they had no details of my booking luckily they had a room.

    room and facilities were good, shower was good and in working order. appreciated the tea making facilities and 2 bottles of water.

    parking and location are very difficult to find, we had to call 3 times to be directed and even then we were lost. The signage is poor, as the science park is big, it needs to be made more clear where the accommodation is, and where guests can park. We ended up parking on the road, as we could not find the car park. Breakfast was ok, buffet could have had more choice, but the service was good.

    Lots of hot water - at all times of the day or night. I have stayed in other hotels where the shower can run cold when you are on the top floor!

    Not really a bad point but I would like to see a power point near the mirror, or a mirror near the power point. For example, the mirror is placed on the other side of the room to the desk - where the power points are. The length of the hairdryer cable is not long enough to be able to plug into the power and be able to stand in front of the mirror. It's hard to dry your hair by guesswork!

    The staff on the reception desk were warm and friendly and seemed genuinely happy to help. My check in was quick and easy and all questions asked were answered with a smile. Room was clean, tidy and of a general high standard. The shower room was also spotless and had a clean, fresh feel.

    The hotel is in a very convenient area for visiting Birmingham city for shopping as well as gigs at the Carling Academy. It is just a 10 minute walk into the centre. I also liked the wide choice of food and drink for breakfast which all tasted great and you could eat as much as you wanted.

    I disliked the noise from what I can only think was from the boiler system which seemed to be on throughout the night and also the bed was quite hard and uncomfortable.

    Difficult to find way out - room long way from lifts and stairs led nowhere!
