    "I like this hotel mostly for the location, as it is probably the best value in Mayfair. However, in our absence, staff left our luggage unattended and unreceipted twice in a 24 hour period, which is probably too trusting in this modern era (although no harm in this case). A more picky guest than me would have found one member of staff to be annoyingly indifferent, although I was not troubled, and almost amused that someone working a fine hotel could be so off-hand."     Great location and excellent value. An adequate room by London standards and everything functioned well.

    The first time someone's laptop is stolen from the unsecured and unreceipted storage will be a mess, but fortunately I was not a victim. Everything else was perfectly fine.

    Lovely room, great location. Facilities all in working order. Staff pleasant and helpful with our requests.

    Rooms overbooked- were given a double instead of twin room. Check in staff were not overly helpful.

    Very conveniently located. Helpful friendly staff at reception.

    Room was small, and had an electric panel heater, presumably because the heating did not work. Some of the TV channels did not work, and we were unable to watch BBC News24.

    The staff was friendly

    The facilities, spefically the hot water system was appauling! On one particulary winter morning, there was no hot water at all.

    "I would use the hotel again, but not pay the full rate. I think the reception staff, particularly the gentleman, would benefit from some customer service training and he needs to learn how to smile.....it makes a great deal of difference." (107717895)

    The shower was excellent, the location was excellent and quiet.

    We had a 'damp' carpet and so there was an unpleasant smell in the room

    "When we arrived, we found the man at the counter very discourteous. He handed me a form to fill in and I tried to explain to him that I had booked online. He looked at the booking confirmation form that I handed to him and said, No, sir - we need YOUR details. These are OUR details. Because of his condescending manner, I tried to explain that normally when I book online the Hotel has my details so I don't usually have to fill in a long form. He replied with You - don't - usually - have to - register with a hotel?. I was shocked by the patronising tone of the conversation as it continued. Then, he asked me to enter my PIN for my credit card. I asked why? Aren't you just taking an impression of the card? No sir, you have to pay for the room. I said Don't you usually pay a hotel bill at the end of your stay? I haven't even seen the room yet? He replied You pay for extras at the end. You have to pay for the room now. It is not as if I have unusually high expectations and have never stayed in a hotel before; in fact, I stayed at the Cavendish just two days before. I booked online, walked in, handed them the reference, they swiped my card and showed me to my room. I paid the bill on the way out. Isn't that normal? It has certainly been my experience throughout the world. I have stayed in 12 hotels within the past year and this is the only time I have encountered anything like this. We were there two days and I witnessed 2 other guests making complaints at reception." (97394357)

    Most of the staff were very friendly and professional, although they offered very limited help: When I asked can you call me a taxi? the answer was certainly sir, there is a taxi rank at the hotel around the corner. When I asked Is there a computer where I can print off a boarding pass? the reply was Certainly sir, if you go out that door, around the corner, down the next street...

    The unprofessionalism of the person who checked us in. The size and quality of the room. The noisy lift that shook my bed every time it arrived on our floor. The very noisy loading bay just outside the front of the hotel. The motorbike car-park right outside the front of the hotel (people were still leaving the car-park at 3:00am)

    "Rude Staff with no manners no please, thank you. No willness to put themselves out, they wouldn't book a taxi when asked the night before or the day I required one. Room was poor, filthy carpet, Air Con out of order although, window was left open before I arrived and as it rained all day water had dripped onto the table. When shutting the window it fell to pieces and dropped at an angle. The view was of a tower block about 15 high with smoke blowing from a Generator straight into my room. Shower had no hot water and the power of the shower was so low you couldn't have a proper shower. Sink took 15 mins to empty because again no water pressure and it overflowed whilst trying to get warm water to come through. TV service welecoming me to the Hotel had someone else's name on and another person's bill. I ordered Breakfast in the room for Monday morning and filled out the card at 7pm which needed to be attached to the door by 2am. The breakfast didn't arrive and the card I left out hadn't even been collected. When I complained to room service they said never mind one of those things and couldn't say how long I would have to wait to get a breakfast. Not even an apology. " (108014883)

    Central Location of Hotel Near to the Training Course I needed to attend. Nothing else was good.

    Rude, couldn't care less attitude, No manners (no thank you, hello, sorry for the problems you are having) English spoken poor and because of this many mistakes made when ordering food. Room Facilities poor or broken Wanted your money upfront all the time Wouldn't put themselves out to help you if you had any issues.

    The hotel was clean comfortable and in a central location for bars resteraunts etc.

    "I regularly stay in the City and probably stay away 2 nights a week throughout the year. This is the only feedback form i have ever felt it necessary to complete. The hotel was overpriced and generally of a poor quality. It had clearly not been decorated for a number of years and I was disappointed in everything about the hotel which was a huge disappointement." (97928631)

    The hotel was well located, this is the only positive comment I have about this hotel.

    The guy on the reception was rude on our arrival with only him booking in a number of guests (Basil Fawlty came to mind). The rooms were poor, I had 6 clients with me and was embarrassed by the quality given I could have booked similar hotels within the area for the same or less value but to a much higher standard.

    "My daughter and I were in London just overnite on our way from the States to Southern Africa. As it was my daughter's first time in London, I tried to pick a hotel that was most centrally located to as much as possible for our short stay. The Park Lane Mews was the perfect match for our needs. Cosy, close, and a friendly staff all added up to a very happy stayover. We really enjoyed the breakfast the next morning. We would definately stay there again!~" (99327513)

    Excellent braekfast. Very helpful staff. Good rooms. All my requirements were met. Very central location.

    A/C was not operating and was noisy. Deposit for extra expenses.

    FIRST IMPRESSION OF THE HOTEL WAS VERY NICE. LOVELY LOUNGE AREA AND RECEPTION.

    THE HOTEL IS LOOKING A BIT WORN IN PLACES AND THERE WERE NO TEA BAGS OR BISCUITS ON THE HOSPITALITY TRAY. WE HAD TO ASK THREE TIMES FOR SOME TEA BAGS IN THE ROOM.
