    Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Good location - city centre bus just outside but also within walking distance.

    En Suite facilities very small. Limited wardrobe space so lived out of the suitcase!

    Because we needed to be at the Sunwalk early on a Sunday morning the staff were very willing to give us breakfast earlier than normal.

    Very helpful, friendly and interested staff right down to chamber maids. The personal touch was very welcome and important to us as we had come for our daughter's graduation and were struggling with awful weather.

    Some of stairwells and corridors rather shabby and dark. Breakfast arrangements shared with neighbouring italian restaurant where people were wandering through. Felt somewhat in the way.

    The Manager was extremely helpful to me when I needed a garage as a matter of urgency in order to have my car fixed for my long journey home. She personally directed me to the garage and was a great help! The breakfast was very nice and the location excellent for the purposes of my stay

    The car parking facilities are very small

    Staff very friendly and more than helpful. Room was fantastic, quiet, clean and spacious.

    We do not have any we were very happy with everything connected to the hotel.

    location is very good. Jesmond metro station ten minutes away. Hotel clean and service is good. Breakfast is good. Bathroom clean.

    Staff are very helpful, especially the owner, she made sure we were well looked after, they even recommended good local restaurants and bars to eat in. The room was large, clean and warm and breakfast was lovely. The location of the hotel is easy to find and has a nice selection of bars on the same street. All in all we had a great Christmas shopping weekend. Newcastle is fantastic for shopping weekends plenty to keep you busy!

    Parking could be a problem.

    Had to ask for another roon as the first one was noisy and small, reception staff at night a bit off putting,quite a way from the trainstation and hospital-it was advertised as being close and it wasn't!

    "Hotel conveniently located, but slightly rambling and because of fire doors rather stale smelling. Room okay, but as I said, a bit tired. Bathroom had been recently renovated, though. Value for money quite good, and local facilities useful." (97998010)

    Able to park car off road, friendly staff, convenience to centre of Newcastle, restaurants right next to hotel. Bed reasonably comfortable. Hairdryer useful. Nice to have "roomlet" to sit and watch tv with 2 chairs (but these very "tired".) Breakfast fine, served in a friendly manner, and quickly.

    Hotel has a very "tired" feel. It would be nice to be offered shower gel/shampoo, though hairdryer useful. Worst point - absolutely no drawers to put clothes in - we were there 3 nights, and this was quite a problem. Inadequate place to hang wet towels. Need for a privacy curtain in the roomlet by bathroom, as this looks out straight onto main road. Had to dress by electric light as couldn't draw curtains.

    Breakfast was rather rushed i.e. cooked breakfast appeared before we had finished cereals etc., No Hairdryer in the room, most hotels provide this.
