electrics in room were very bad. all light came on/off at once. fan could not work at same time as lights. loose wire sticking out of bathroom wall!

Room was in the roof of the hotel and was far too hot - appeared far hotter than any other part of the hotel - very difficult to sleep.

Very convenient, clean and friendly staff.
Building site next door was very noisy - almighty crashes and bangs in morning. Could do with air-conditioning in the warm weather.

facilities not very reliable (telephone-not working in one room), unfortunately bar-restaurant was being refurbished and no possibility of eating in hotel - no information when booking

Staff were very helpful
The stairs carpet was marked and made me a bit apprehensive of what the room would be like - as it didn't give a good first impression. But the room was absolutely fine and well equipped.

HARD TO SAY,THE STAFF FIND IT HARD TO SMILE AND GREET BUT WERE GENERALLY POLITE.
THE ROOM WAS TOO SMALL AND WE HAD REQUESTED A COT FOR A BABY AND IT WAS NOT SUPPLIED. THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR FAMILY WITH CHILDREN.THERE IS NO EATING FACILITIES FOR KIDS AND THE BAR IS A PUBLIC SPORTS BAR WITH PATRIONS USING VERY ABUSIVE LANGUAGE.OUR ROOM WAS CLOSE TO THE CLEANING ROOM WHICH HAD A WASHING MACHINE RUNNING THE WHOLE NIGHT.

The people working at the hotel and pub were very friendly and eager to help where they could. There was someone at the desk all day, encase you needed towals and the likes. The pub was a nice quiet place to go to but some good beer at a great price down.

"the area the hotel was situated in was poor, would not have liked to have walked the streets at night alone, lukily there was a group of us. hotel nearly a 20 min walk from tube station- not 5 mins as was stated. dirty and blood stained bed sheets on one bed!!!!" (97199534)

The bed was comfortable, and a small fridge was provided.
The room seemed very dated giving a strong impression of dirtyness, its more than fair to say a refurb is required. The TV was very small and the batteries in the remote were dead. No refreshment facilities - teabags etc .... critical to a yorkshireman!

Convenient for central London tourist attractions, bus routes etc. Service was good.
State of repair was not good - holes in walls etc. Shower dripped continually. TV reception very poor and low choice of channels. Smokey smell in corridors was unpleasant. Restaurant was below ground level and felt oppressive, smelly, in need of redecoration.

"At £109 for a family room ( without breakfast), we were not expecting luxury accommodation , but this hotel was poor value for money. It was just as well that we were only there to sleep- we would not have wanted to spend any more time there, and with younger children ( ours are 9 and 12) it would have been a disaster." (97832298)
Can't think of anything about the room. The only good things were being able to check in at 11.00am and the fact that we could leave luggage there on the day of departure.
It was very small, very noisy- like trying to sleep in the corridor ( internal noise not external noise which I appreciate that you can't avoid in London always), very shabby,not that clean, with a tiny, scruffy shower/bathroom.

It was clean and comfortable and well decorated.
Noise from railway line outside was slightly annoying but didn't prevent us sleeping

The room was tiny, and it was next to the railway track, which proved quite noisy at night

The staff were helpful and friendly
The room was tired and need of updating, the bathroom especially had mould growing around the bottom of the shower unit and generally needed a bit of maintenance work to bring it up to scratch

de kamer zou een aangepaste kamer zijn voor een rolstoeler een paar beugels in de badkamer is nou niet echt een aangepaste kamer en dan zeker niet voor iemand die helemaal niet kan lopen kon met zijn rolstoel achter het bed staan en dat was alles. het schoonmaken van de kamer slecht om 6 uur werd er met deuren gegooit heb hier melding van gemaakt maar het is de hele week zo gebleven dus elke dag om 6 uur wakker. een bouwplaats naast het hotel waar elke dag flinke herrie vandaan kwam dus het was niet echt vakantie in het hotel. het is een achterbuurt gelegen hotel waar je eigenlijk s'avonds niet op straat kan we werden daar door diverse mensen op gewezen niet zo fijn en zeker niet als je kinderen bij je hebt.
