    Apartments very suitable for hen party group. Living room, kitchen area great for getting together before going out. Great value for money also.

    "Hotel, apart from bad points listed above, was fine and served a purpose for our weekend as we were attending a wedding at a different hotel and so did not spend much time in the Clarion." (97025390)

    check-in quick, staff friendly, apartment great size and very clean

    Difficult to find apartments from main hotel, not enough signs. Could not use water from tap for drinking or making hot drinks as advised to us by the hotel but hotel did not provide enough bottled drinking water to compensate. We had booked apartment for 4 adults, but there was only enough cups,plates and utensils for three people. Could not have showers on last morning of stay because there was no hot water.

    The apartments were lovely.

    The trek to the hotel recpetion from the apartments. The bar staff were rude and slow.

    All round i thought the hotel/apartments were excellent. The apartments were first class, excellent decor throughout and location was perfect with Sligo town on your doorstep.

    Unfortunately the bar / restaurant ( asian ) seemed under staffed. Being in the hospitality industry myself i understand the staff were very busy as there seemed to be quite a large wedding on that night too, but in no way would this deter me from coming back and staying again, i have already told my friends and work colleagues about you.

    Clean and tidy, good size

    Faulty doorhandles, need better pillows, problems in geeting hot water. The boiler did not seem to be functioning properly, so showers and baths a problem. We were in a self catering unit, but the guests in the main hotel were still queuing for breakfast at 10-30am

    "Receptionist said it is a fully equiped kitchen after being asked if there was an oven but there is only a microwave and kettle in it. Hair in the bathtub and splashes on the bathroom wall. Larger bins in the kitchen would be helpful" (3305280654)

    The spaceious rooms and the quietness

    That there were only 6 channels on TV not the 17 as promised. No access to minibar and bins too small for kitchenette.

    "Overall really good value for money. The apartments are luxurious and have everything you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good in the Kudos Thai food restaurant and the bar was lively with good entertainment each evening." (3304518472)

    The apartments were beautiful. The decor was very tasteful and well appointed. For a four night stay they were serviced mid stay which is unusual these days. The beds were huge and very comfortable with crisp cotton linen. We loved the freedom of being able to use the hotel facilities if we wished.

    Nothing really- couldn't get into the mini bar!

    "The size and quality of the accommodation was a real surprise - superb value for money. Breakfast is not included but microwave / fridge etc. meant you could self-cater very easily. The hotel has been recently refurbished to a high standard and is well used by locals for weddings etc. Most of the rooms are away from the main reception rooms so we weren't disturbed by the parties. Only downside was the amount of litter in the car parks. Staff generally extremely helpful." (3304966647)

    Wonderful location, excellent quality room.

    Staff poor at communicating - difficulty finding room, sign posting poor. Main hotel spectacular, but limited seating area to sit and relax, seemed so busy - obviously a lot of rooms but bar and sitting area too small to cope with numbers.

We did not eat in the hotel since we had a self catering apartment but we used the bar which was very good.     "overall stay excellent got the accomodation i requested even though the hotel had no record of my booking. we could have been stranded after a 4hr. journey but the situation was resolved.     rooms very good

    for such a nice hotel who designed the bar,not pleasent or comfortable absolutly no atmosphere
