    "Very good. Would like to stay in the spring or summer when we might be able to walk around the grounds more." (108597797)

    Size of room was excellent and an unexpected suprise. Everything was very clean and of a good standard. Staff were very efficient and friendly especially on reception. Food in resturant was very enjoyable.

    Far too much dressing on the Caasar Salad - try serving less dressing, and separately 'on the side'.

    Excellent service from all staff, especially the dining room and kitchen staff who catered for my Gluten Free diet. Facilities are of a very high standard. Plenty of parking.

    Only minor bad points - TV didn't work but this was rectified as soon as notified. Tea pot was not replaced after room cleaned on second day.

    Nice hotel, good facilities, clean and well kept. Staff friendly and helpful.

    Some of the food was not very good and could be improved (in particular some of the dinner offerings).

    Location & setting; facilities on site; decor of rooms; food; friendliness of staff; cleanliness.

    No fridge in room; only terrestrial tv channels; asked for late check-out but this was not communicated to housekeeping staff who knocked on door at normal checkout time; Would have liked a greater choice of breakfast menu in room (continental only was available).

    "Overall I would say this is an excellent hotel. Good accomodation and facilities. We used the pool and steam room and I had a full aromatherapy massage which I would highly recommend booking. Staff very helpful. The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a better selection of lunch options on the Sunday in the bar area. The food in the restaurant was OK and fairly priced for what we had but could have been better. The ambience in the dining room was horrible due to terrible lighting which if changed would improve it no end. This is my only critisism. I would stay here again." (99228873)

    Very comfortable room and bathroom - both of a good size and excellent decorative order.

    Room too warm at night even though we turned heating to minimum.

    "We were very impressed with this hotel in all aspects. We had access to all the leisure facilities (gym, swimming pool, spa, steam room and sauna).the facilities were all excellent and the pool was built in a very quaint part of the hotel. Our room was first class (we were lucky to get a semi executive room for the price of a standard double due to availability!). the bar area was impressive with a bar menu available if required. We used the restaurant and the food for both my wife and I was exemplary, made to our tastes. the only snag I did have was that one dish that I fancied was not available due to shortages. However, the haddock dish was a good substitute. We felt the staff form the bar, restaurant and morning breakfast were very professional and polite. This made our short stay a pleasant one. the gardens were beautifully maintained. Overall I will definitely stay there again and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone!     The size of the room was excellent. Having a sofa in there with table and chairs gave it that relaxing feeling with a chance to unwind in the room. The bathroom was very good too. The cleanliness of the accommodation was important and the hotel lived up to our expectations on the front.

    Even thought the bed was king size we found it a little uncomfortable. The pillows were not to our liking either as they were pretty hard.

    "Would have liked to have known that we were not staying in main hotel and that we had a little walk and stairs to go up to get to our accomodation. Leisure facilities great but shame steam room not working. I had massage which was lovely, but many hotels do a special neo-natal package. It might be worth looking into." (3304960878)

    CLEAN ROOMS, GOOD FRIENDLY SERVICE, LOVELY EVENING MEAL

    WOULD HAVE LIKED MINI BAR IN ROOM. i WAS 9 MONTHS PREGNANT AND HUSBAND HAD TORN LIGAMENT. i FELT SOMEONE COULD HAVE OFFERED TO CARRY OUR BAGS TO OUR ROOM.
