    "A good experience, but I feel that it would have been better value if continental breakfast at least had been included in the price. When booking online at higher graded hotels I have been quoted "breakfast included" at not a great deal more than the cost of room only at the Travelodge." (108649499)

    Pleasant friendly and helpful staff. Food in restaurant for breakfast and evening meal very good. Room comfortable with adequate facilities, and well supplied with clean towels and tea, coffee, milk and sugar.

    Overall hotel seemed a little in need of renovation and re-decoration. I understand some of the rooms may be undergoing this process at the moment. However despite the above it did not detract from the general cleanliness of the room.

    I found the process of checking in to be unsatisfactory. Being a speaker of American English, I had a hard time understanding what the female clerk was saying, and she just kept repeating it, ever more loudly. I also did not understand that it would be billed in euros rather than pounds, which is fine, but it should have been explained. After that initial unpleasant experience, everything was fine.

    Great location right in the center of the city near Europa hotel and beautiful pubs, in a quiet area. Friendly staff, clean and fairly spacious rooms and definately good value for the money.

    Very easy to hear all noises from other rooms. Very cold water in shower. No adapters available for electronic equipment. Expensive internet in lobby. No free wi-fi in the room. Not possible to leave bags in lobby on check out-day.

    Central location near the 2 best pubs in Belfast and 70 yards from the main bus station.A very good breakfast was the one saving grace of the hotel. Otherwise its only across the road to the Europa should you decide to check out - we did.

    The building is naturally cramped. The welcome is similar to when one purchases a bus ticket from the central bus station across the road. Nothing wrong but just about adequate. We stayed in room 515. After reaching the floor on the lift one walks around the corridor noticing the poor taste of colour scheme and the musty smell. The room at first looks suitable until one starts noticing the odd issues relating to lack of cleanliness. In the bathroom there were dirty tiles, under the sink a dirty floor, generally a dusty room , no remote for the dusty T.V. a previous occupant's sweet wrapper left on floor and a chipped and cracked mug to drink your tea from. The list is not extensive.

    Hotel is in a very central location

    No parking on street parking , rooms are not the cleaniest , located in a very busy square with pubs and clubs

    "Overall it was OK, the staff were friendly and the location was wonderful. I would stay here again for ease however I would only pay for the advanced rate again as I didn't think it was worth any more than that." (107688949)

    Fabulous location, easy walking distance to everything.

    Although the room was clean and tidy, the curtain was hanging off the rail but we only had a tiny window that didn't have any daylight coming through anyway so that wasn't a bother. The shower however seemed to either be freezing cold whilst the water was running from the bath taps, but once you pressed the shower button no cold water appeared to come out and it was only boiling water. This was not much fun!

    The staff were friendly and helpful.

    the lobby and lift areas clearly hadnt been vaccuumed in quite a long time, the bed was VERY uncomfortable, the decor in the room was drab and tired looking with marks on the wall, the remote control had lost its back and the batteries were being held in place with a small piece of tape, the soundproofing on the windows was completely inadequate.

    "We were pleased to be able to stay over so close to the train and bus station at a fair and reasonable price for the room. We were delighted to have such an excellent breakfast before the next stage of our journey." (107559846)

    Breakfast was excellent. Bed was comfortable and clean. We were weary from travelling all day and had a good sleep. Bathroom facilities were good and clean.

    Decor was drab and walls were marked in the room, but it was generally clean.

    "As we arrived about 10 am the lack of luggage storage and no check in until 3pm was very inconvenient and cost me £4 to store in the Wellcome Centre.This should be stated in the hotel info.when booking.We were also only told about lack of breakfast because I asked.     the room was too hot so our sleep was compermised both nights the window did not open verry much.out side the window was some kind of extraction running twenty fouf seven no phone in room or shower gel or hair dryer

    Room stank of damp, mould on the ceiling, our room was right by the illuminated travelodge sign so we couldn't sleep, two hour wait to get an iron in the morning, overpriced, breakfast poor

    Good location close to city centre. Informed the reception staff about the problems with the llights and they were fixed for us returning to the room a short time later.

    Toilet lights and bedside lights not working. Rooms was on the side over looking the squre and the music from Fibber Magee's was loud.

    Very friendly staff

    Loud and noisey neighbours. One screaming at his friend on the phone every 3 hours. No handbook to advice on what to do in this situation, I certainly wasn't going to tell him myself as a lone female. Breakfast very expensive, you can buy cheaper in the city. Strange bit of blue carpet on one of the floors and I had to ask for a hair dryer at reception as they were not provided in the room as per the website!

    Booking in: Receptionist rattled out information as if on fast-forward while asking for signatures. Guests are expected to read, write, listen and understand simultaneously. Room: Smell of dampness on entering (on noticing the smell being particularly strong while using my laptop I decided to check the area below and discovered the carpet below the worktop was soaking wet), Tatty water damaged furnishings, Chipped & cracked washand basin, No working air extraction in toilet, Toilet seat loose, No facilities for hanging towels, No facilities for placing shampoos etc in the shower, even the toilet pedal bin was broken, Tapping noise during the night from unknown source.

    "We came to the Travelodge Belfast Central as somewhere to stay the night after we watched Northern Ireland play against San Marino at football. It served its purpose to that extent - the bed was comfy, the room was clean and we were able to get around easily from its location. I would very much recommend it for this purpose as it is right by the bus station from the airport and right in the centre of town." (107767172)

    The television was nice. The bed was good, and so was the coffee. I enjoyed the Gideon Bible. Very good position off Donegall Square in Belfast - overall we both enjoyed our stay. The coat hangers were nice. My wife enjoyed the free coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

    The view from our window was shocking. The shower was horrible - it kept on going boiling hot and then freezing cold.

    the lobby and staff very welcoming

    once you are in that lift and heading to your room the place would need a makeover including the room. safety latches on windows almost hanging of, stains on ceiling, holes in walls. bathroom good condition.

    I had to email to get a breakdown of our trip this should have been sent automatically! On arrival we were overcharged for our stay but luckily I had brought a copy of my booking and could prove we were being overcharged. Very poor customer care.

    We asked to leave our luggage in the hotel from early in the morning till the evening before checking in as we planned a trip during the day and the receptionist did everything possible to make that possible even though the hotel doesn't offer left luggage facilities. Excellent customer service!

    Location in City Centre.

    Toilet seat soiled and Coffee mugs required washing before using. VAT for room charged at 17.5% and was told 'that is what the computer calculated !, Why no refund of VAT ?

    Linen clean and bed resonably comfortable. Staff on the front desk always helpful and polite.

    Tired hotel...grubby net curtains,and curtains falling of the rails. Our room overlooked a supermaket delivery yard, which was noisy in the morning.

    Reasonably priced, good central location

    No parking facilities Electricity went off a couple of times briefly in the morning (very dark when lights went off suddenly in bathroom!). Room was very basic but functional.
