    Location,cleanliness and up to date facilities. Very nice fresh continental breakfast, microwave and cutlery in room so can take in own food.

    No dining room so breakfast is served in the bedroom, although was a table on the patio if weather is warm.

    Convenient location, close to nice restaurants and close to conference at Portland Place. Upgraded to a suite, unsure how small a standard room would be.

    Bed dipped badly into the middle. Bose ipod speaker didn't work.

    The room was lovely. Very comfortable with everything you could possibly need.

    A very very minor suggestion would be to put a mirror in the bedroom. Using hair straighteners without a mirror is a problem.

    "Although our stay was brief, we are able to appreciate the the room and the staff. We are quite familiar with London, so we knew the location through doing some search on the internet. What we got were pleasant surprises, such as free internet (we stayed in a 5 star hotel some where else in the UK 2 days before, and we were charged 15GBP for internet access). 2 TV's and an excellent shower bath was also a surprise. If I were to promote this hotel, it would be the location, modern rooms, free internet, a well equipped kitchenette, 2 independent TV's and overall ambience and cleanliness and of course, breakfast delivered to the room."     Well equip and modern decor e.g.internet and kitchenette.Quiet and very good location.

    We were in room that the lift does not stop on the floor and had to carry luggage up the narrow staircase.That is only the disadvantage.The room made up for it.

    "My main gripe is that I could have booked this hotel cheaper directly. Usually booking through sites like lastminute.com etc. you expect to get a discount not to pay a premium for the priviledge. The blurb on the your website intimated that the rooms were suites, this was far from the case and the staff managed to charge me on booking in and booking out, though hopefully this has since been resolved. I cannot fault the cleanliness, decor or facilities of the room, which were 1st class. It just niggled that my wife and I could barely pass each other in the room easily." (97890621)

    Very well equiped, though the T.V. needed setting up for station reception as it appears somebody had been playing around and left the pre sets all over the place.

    For not a budget price the room brought a new meaning to the phrase compact and bijou. There was barely enough room to walk around the room.

    "We Waited at least 15 minutes until someone arrived at reception to check us in.I would have like to have known before we booked that the room was down some unbelievably steep stairs.fittings around the room and bathroom loose and not working." (99241433)

    "Because I travel so much particularly staying in London I am getting very bored with very polite helpful staff but with no real understanding of the language, no jokes, humour, discourse. The Sunday rate was good. The sink is designed not to have a plug which makes a wet shave interesting. Picking up a taxi on leaving involves a walk but not really a problem. It could be an exceptional hotel especially with a 'personality' on reception. With regard to the room, perhaps I should have had a suite." (99456977)

    A quiet location but with bars and restaurants within walking distance.

    The staff don't really speak English. Who ever had designed the room had never stayed. It looked wonderful but not really practical, for one night not a problem but where do you put your suitcase when you want to get in to bed.

    The overall comfort of the room and particularly the bed. and the relative peaceful night without too much outside noises.

    Having stayed at the hotel last year, we did notice signs of wear and tear - particularly in the hallways and stairs.

    "No reception area and our room was not ready on arrival. No choice of breakfast cereal. Not sure if rooms are spacious enough to have breakfast served in our room. Extras added to my bill for minibar which were not correct; however these were removed without a fuss when questioned. The good points are that the hotel is very private (with broadband and good e-mail facilities) and in a great location. I'd recommend only on that basis." (99637454)

    "The reason the room was too hot was that the air conditioning had been disabled for the winter. I also noticed that the room across the open area from ours must also have been too hot since they also had to open their door onto the patio.     "The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of the tube and buses. The basement room was fine and quiet. It had good facilities (flat screen TV, free internet access, minibar, sink, microwave) and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was small but adequate, although the shower was rather complicated. When we arrived the french doors leading to a little courtyard were unlocked and there was no key which was worrying. Reception needed to be persuaded that the lack of security was a problem.     "Good location for Marylebone and easy to get to Oxford St and West End from here (half hour to walk/plenty of buses in Baker St). Hotel smart and staff very friendly. Room very comfortable: airco, quiet location, good beds etc. good bathroom, very handy to have fridge and kitchen equipment! Computer with internet in room a real bonus too!     "The hotel did not answer my questions from the main web site, but thru activehotel it was efficient and worked well. I did request 2 beds, was given a room with a hideabed, no bedding in cupboard, so late that first night had to make up a hideabed. That was the worst thing and it was not a big deal! Just FYI, under sofa and bed needed to be vacumed, very dirty. The mini kitchen was great to have, breakfast was wonderful and very timely. The bath products are high quality.I think for the size of the room, newness, and location this hotel is an excellent value." (3304840393)

    Clean and convenient

    Room had nicotine odour, despite asking for NON-SMOKING when I booked the room I was resurred. Hotel staff did not realise the previous customer was a smoker and therefore could not filter the room in-time. Complained and staff gave fruit as an act of good faith. Overall staff acknowledged our dissatification and proactively acted.

    "This hotel was by far the best thing about my overnight stay in London-exceptional value for money. It is a great find: new, very clean, very thoughtful modern design, the best continental breakfast I have had anywhere, quiet and a short walk to the Baker Street underground. The internet was fast and free. And the shower was an experience on its own. Don't hesitate on this one, especially all my friends from South East Asia. I'll be back!!!" (3304691847)
