    "Very good - but disappointed with the lack of pool or gym which from the online information I thought was there. Due to the lack of this facility I would not stay there again but the staff reception, waiting and bar staff were excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who didnt want a pool" (107647126)

    Parking and reception excellent - on the edge bistro and bar and staff superb Very well policed so that there was ample space for residents even though parking was limited the staff did a brilliant job on a very busy day

    double charged for meal accidently I know but created an issue prior to leaving when we were in a hurry and didnt need the delay - eventually got the bill right NO POOL OR LEISURE FACILITIES big minus which means I would not stay again The room could do with some instructions on working TV and AC Breakfast - we would have benefitted if the waiting staff mentioned that eggs could be ordered independantly of the buffet food - personally would have preferred poached eggs but this service was not offered and it was only after we had eaten that we noticed someone else ordering food!

    "We enjoyed our stay and plan to return to the Richmond area later this year. Unfortunately as much as we enjoyed our stay at the Richmond Hill we would be looking for a more competatively priced hotel as, like a lot of people, we do have a limited budget." (107511847)

    The hotel and all facilities were in very good condition and clean. The food was also very good and the wedding reception was excellent.

    A quality hotel that was nicely kept.

    Top floor rooms we were put in were rather warm at this time of year (ie the air con didn't actually achieve anything). It does say in the booking but be warned, breakfast is NOT included in the room price.

    Online booking I thought was good

    On booking in the reception staff could not find the booking however I had a copy of the booking on my Blackberry, therefore the booking in was long winded.

    Room was very comfortable. Bar and restaurant staff were very attentive. Enjoyed the stay. Great breakfast.

    Took a while to check in as there was a large que but thats all. And we ordered Sunday papers but they were not delivered. Just minor things...but missed the papers!

    On the whole staff friendly and polite.

    We did not expect to hear the person in charge of the dining room for breakfast telling a member of staff off within hearing of customers. Very poor management. Having to pay for smoked salmon and an omelette....what is that about. Are they so special?

    Car Parking was awful, drove around 4 times still no space parked in road. Tried again later but still no car parking space. Returned to car next day after being parked in road to find scratch damage down near side.

    "If only the customer service was better, travelling alone it is always nice to have someone to greet you warmly -even if they don't mean it. In the hotel industry I think good care of guests is paramount -you always remember poor service. " (107484039)

    The room was clean and everything worked, I have no complaints and found the bed comfy and the rooms seemed well soundproofed as I had a wonderfully peaceful nights sleep. I had a nice hot shower in the morning and there were plenty of towels etc.

    The staff seemed a bit pre occupied with what they were doing, as a guest I didn't feel the main priority : Checking in I had to wait whilst the reception staff finished their conversation and then they could find no record of my booking, there was no apology just a grunt! At breakfast the staff were not particuarly helpful

    "Excellent clean hotel with modern facilities. Gym facilities and food were of a very high quality." (107454702)

    The entire hotel, including the room, was very clean and tidy and appeared to have been recently refurbished. The gym and pool facilities were excellent. The food in the restaurant was excellent if rather expensive.

    The receptionist upon arrival appeared grumpy. The food is expensive although excellent quality.

    Welcoming and pleasant reception staff although under pressure due to Wedding PartyFunction taking place. Breakfast service poor, involving repeated requests for coffee and toast. Bar staff on the night of our stay were extremely pleasant and helpful.

    Very small bedroom with item of clothing left in room from previous quest. Outlook from bedroom depressing due to hotels laundery and refuse storage left very untidy in rear of building and in site of the leisure centre.

    The room was clean and pleasant. The Bar served an excellent and quick lunch. The restaurant was superb. The attached spa was pleasant and had the most enormous Jacuzzi I've ever seen!

    For the price breakfast should have been cooked to order rather than just being a buffet (bacon/black pudding was a bit dry). The hotel was a bit pricey for what I wanted to pay.

    Tiny room for the price. Bathroom too small to turn around, water did not work in the morning, kettle did not work, not very clean, no help from porter with our bags, etc, etc

    Air Conditioning worked well. Restaurant manager was able to accommodate special request for breakfast

    Very small attic room. TV remote did not work so had to stand on bed to manually work tv channels. Heated towel rail on & unbearably hot in small attic room when 27 degrees outside. No instructions/switch to turn off. Hotel being decorated so lift not operational

    Checking in was quick and easy. Were able to check in early. The room was modern and comfortable.

    The directions on the website are very misleading. They make it sound like one has to turn off the main road - bare (sic) left etc, when all you have to do is follow the road around. Breakfast was not part of the package & at

    Generally a good experience - pleasant helpful staff - adequate room (would have appreciated a fridge) - good location - short walk into the centre of Richmond and easy access to beautiful walk along the River Thames.

    Bar prices expensive - no appetisers available in the bar and so charged 3.50 for a small bowl of crisps

    Staff were efficient and polite

    Room was very noisy, we were disturbed very early in the morning by noise from the kitchen/staff which was inconvenient for us. Room was tiny Price was high considering breakfast was not included.

    Great position and a lovely hotel

    Room far to small, I am only 5` 8" and my feet hung over the bottom of the bed. Lack of detail ie. no hairdrier or ironing board, we had to ask for them.

    Room was modern and well designed - layout user friendly

    Bathroom very small, bath smaller than I have encountered in other hotels, not enough beverages or cups left out for guests to use. Hotel bar lacked warmth and atmosphere
