  Very friendly and comfortable with an individual feel and lovely furnishings. Lovely wine and food.

  TV did not work very well and the water pressure in the shower was a bit weak.

  "A first class experience in all ways and an excellent pre- christmas treat." (99635715)

  The en suite facilities ( jacuzzi and sauna ); the uninterrupted views across Derbyshire countryside; the unobtrusive staffing and a general air of peace , privacy and tranquility'

  The unavailability of meals, in the week before Christmas. There is a good range of restaurants locally, but we would have preferred to stay in the hotel

  "The hotel is is a lovely rural setting - easy to find. It is evident that the owners take a great deal of care with the fixtures, fittings and overall comfort. The food was amazing - although I have never felt so full in my life! I thought I woud burst afterwards. certainly the best vegetarian cooked breakfast i have ever had in a hotel not a quor suasage in sight. We are keen to come back later in the year and re-use the whirlpool bath!" (3304825702)

  the hotel was comfortable and luxurious in a beautifully peaceful setting. we were especially pleased to find out we had been upgraded to one of the best rooms

  Hotel calme, typique. Bien qu'il soit perdu au milieu des colines il reste proches des zones urbaines.

  "Having stayed there about 4 years ago always wanted to return and we will again, everything is perfect, bedrooms food, staff, position, nothing could be faulted." (3305121752)
