    Friendly hosts, lovely homely room - the alarm clock was a very thoughtful touch. Letting us leave our car for the week was a real bonus.

    Nothing bad! Interesting dark walk back from the pub (good food there too) but we took a torch!

    Manageress very helpful when a bag was mislaid and very friendly. Guest house very close to the airport. Transfers very helpful. Clean and convenient and private.

    First impressions not so good as check in was in an entrance hall to the owner's house. A proper reception area is needed.

    Good clean room - close to airport, convenient.

    Very poor welcome - felt we were "bothering" the peaceful life of the owners. All they cared about was money. In the reservation, it is mentioned that transfers are included, but in reality we had to walk to the guesthouse. Service is really minimum, and it is a self-service breakfast (kept to a minimum).

    "When I got to the Stansted Guest House I was charged (before I could even see my room) GBP 55,00. I paid cash and the owner did not advised me that they had already charged GBP13,75 to my credit card and he should haved only charged me GBP 41,25. When I got my visa statement, I send a mail to Active Hotel and to the Guest House asking them to return the overcharged amount. Active Hotels repied that it was the responsability of the Guest House. Stansted Guest House have not replied. I travel a lot, use many hotels and guest houses in various countrys and this is the first time something like that has happend to me. Of course, not me, nor any of my friends will go to that place. If you go...make sure they do not overcharge you." (108939877)

    Efficient check-in/check-out. Friendly staff. Comfortable room with tea and coffee. Very handy for airport and reasonable price.

    Very close and convenient for Stansted airport. Quiet, pleasant surroundings, easy breakfast arrangement.

    A bit expensive at £60 per night for a single traveller.

    Very conveniently located near Stansted airport Transport to the airport was very good Room was a very clean and comfortable.

    The light next to the front door of the accommodation building was blinding as you approached, but did not light up the door itself.

    The guesthouse is very close to the airport which is very confortable. The guesthouse has its transfer service and I didn't need to take care about the transfer in the very early morning. The place is pretty quiet to sleep.

    Clean and comfortable room. Surprisingly quiet surroundings for a near-airport guest house,although sound-proofing not adequate for noise of fellow-guests.Facility to park car while away flying excellent.

    The guest house only takes you to and collects from the airport hourly,on the hour. Great if your flight timings coincide but not if they don't. You can get a taxi or walk, though.The guest house has specific opening and collection times which may not always coincide with their guests' requirements. Breakfast costs £3 each extra, I think this is just a way of putting the price up and should be included in the price for the room.

    Very nice room

    Cash required (or £5 surcharge), but hotel far from cashpoint! Walk to airport on a non-lit road, with some areas unpaved (and crossing a dual carriage way!).

    Avevamo soggiornato nello stesso hotel già due anni fa e siamo ritornati anche quest'anno. Pulito, confortevole, moderno, bagno grande con il porta asciugamani scaldasalviette. E'facilmente raggiungibile dall'aeroporto di Stansted, adatto per chi ha il volo la mattina presto o per chi arriva la sera tardi. Personale disponibilissimo, ci sono venuti a prendere all'aeroporto e ci hanno riaccompagnato la mattina dopo per prendere il volo. Colazione a tua scelta, c'è una stanza con la cucina componibile e gli elettrodomestici, con disponibilità di qualunque cosa per la colazione, come fosse casa tua.

    L'acqua della doccia la sera era talmente calda che era quasi impossibile lavarsi.

    Friendly staff. If you leave very early, you can make breakfast yourself. Good bed. 6 pounds with a taxi from Standsted airport.

    Waterpressure in the shower was low.
