    The downstairs part of hotel is very nice, plenty of rooms to spend quiet time in. Spa and pool area very nice. The view from our window in room 20 was lovely.

    The rooms are basic and over-heated. There was nowhere in the rooms to put bags etc, no chairs or table to put things on. The spa changes the treatments you book without consulting you, and in the case of the aromatherapy massage, was 30 minutes less than time charged for. The food is very poor - cooked breakfast is paltry, and the buffet lunch at £15 consisted of a selection of very dry tasteless meat and the sort of salad selection you see at a harvester. The only choice for dessert was fruit salad. Overall, the standard of catering is shameful, for the price charged.

    Warm, friendly atmosphere and extremely helpful, courteous and friendly staff (reception, restaurant, fitness teachers and natural therapists). Beautiful environment and reasonable costs. Fantastic food and relaxed approach - not at all intimidating like some spas we have stayed in.

    Natural therapies receptionist and general attitude of those we book therapies through. Stark contrast to the rest of the staff who were all marvellous.

    Excellent value for money and the dinner set menu's were very good, even for my friend who is a vegetarian.

    Emailed Cedar Falls direct to book treatments and was a bit of an ordeal as not communicated with properly, chased bookings on Saturday to be told 'hadn't seen the email' (sent previous tuesday)just had to phone 2/3 times to confirm and felt the people I spoke to weren't overly bothered but all ok in the end

    Excellent location & accomodation with very friendly and helpful staff.

    Nothing of real note, just a few minor things: I asked for flowers in the room via the online booking (as it was our anniversary) but nothing was done or mentioned to me about this, a little bit disappointing.

    General atmosphere is so relaxing from the moment you walk in the door! Food is excellent.

    Lovely room (3) but no bedside light on one side, and other one not really usable for reading in bed! Furniture (Stag) looking rather tired.

    Overall lovely atmosphere, very cosy and comfortable, excellent food and lovely staff, professional treatments and a very relaxing experience.

    No changing facilities fir men, and only one gents toilet which was a little annoying!

    Pleasant staff and lovely breakfast.

    Unable to get any drinks from 10:15pm as no bar, very odd in such a nice hotel. Has put us off staying there when we travel to Taunton every 2 weeks, but then again, it is a health farm, we assumed it was a hotel with facilities.

    Excellent pool spa and gardens with plenty of sun loungers and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food excellent but had slight problem with the service.

    Dinner was spoilt as they forgot our main course. However, rectified and not charged for so handled very well.

    Nice setting and pool area was clean.

    The room was small, sink in the bedroom not bathroom. Very noisy had deliveries out window at 8am in the morning. The shower wasn't high enough in the bathroom for me (i'm 5'7) let alone my partner! Bed was too short.

    We were made to feel very welcome the minute we arrived on Sunday evening. We were not thrilled with the first room and asked for a chenge . We were very happy with the Baden-Powell room. The lights were not working but were very soon rectified despite the fact it was Sunday evening. Well done to the night porter.

    Loo in room took a lot of flushing. As my husband was going to work he could have done with a 7.30 breakfast. Our robes were a bit old and smelly.

    Spa facilities excellent will definitely return for another weekend

    The room was small with a bathroom with no window. We did not complain as we had taken one of the weekend offers and thought perhaps this was the type of room included in the offer.

    the treatment rages were excellent and the many i had were of high standards.

    poor house keeping....social side of hotel after 9.30pm is non existant !having to walk through the grounds to the gate to smoke was not good....i did not feel safe nor felt it was a good advert for cedar falls....i would have felt that there was ample space within the grounds to provide a safe and private area for smokers.

    "Very much enjoyed our stay at cedar falls, would definitely recommend it to others and visit again. The room (Baden Powell) was of a good size, the decor did need updating but we expected this after reading reviews prior to our stay. The communal areas of the hotel were lovely. We had the drawing room to ourselves of an evening which was a real plus. The indoor swimming pool was clean although a bigger indoor pool would have improved the facilities greatly." (107316271)

    Amazing gardens, good facilities and friendly staff.

    The vegetarian option (leek and cheese bake) for the set 4 course meal was of poor quality, high in fat and far too salty but otherwise the food was of good quality.

    Excellent place to chill out on a summer evening after a hard day at work and before heading off again on the road in the morning. Outside pool and loungers under the trees. Table d'hote menu very good and reasonable value for money (£25 for 3 courses).

    "I thought that the staff where very friendly and helpful, the exterior of the hotel was looked very nice along with the well maintained and spacious gardens with scenic views. There was also a nice peaceful and homely feel in the hotel.     The gym, spa, sauna and pool facilities are excellent. The golf course is well designed and has been maintained to a very high standard.

    The food is cooked to a high standard although while appreciating that it is a health farm it would have been nice to have had a wider choice on the menu,

Wished we'd planned to make more use of the treatment facilities, but we were using hotel as a base for touring the area. overall a very relaxing way to spend a holiday, would definitely go back."     The peace and quiet, no children! Lovely room. Excellent facilities, gym,swimming pool, sauna.

    can't think of anything, only wish it was closer to home (Newcastle upon Tyne)!

    The solitude of the place and the the surrounding scnery. the staff were moslty pleasant and attentive.

    The lack of mens faccilities in the hotle, in fact there was only one WC which was in the beauty salon, and the pool doors close at 10 PM
