    "Location was perfect. Staff were friendly an really helpful." (107682366)

    Staff realy helpful, room was clean and the hotel in genera was maintained to a good standard.

    There was no tea or coffee in the room, we had to go downstairs to get it, also no lesiure factilites and the breakfast was not to the standard i would expect.

    Friendly staff Free wireless internet clean & modern rooms lift to floors for luggage. Lots of car parks right outside (all free)

    Difficult to find in the town, not on the GPS. Told a booking was available at the restraunt but it was in an overflow room (which we weren't told about) which was very sterile & lacked atmosphere, was similar to a day room in a nursing home! The other 3 couples all made a coment as well. Fire alarm went off on the sunday morning, no staff gave instructions or reassured guests it was a false alarm.

    Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent. Room very modern decor. Blackout curtains most effective. Beautiful, quiet location on the outskirts of town.

    If you want to go into town, it costs around £4 by taxi. Perhaps we could have walked, but weather not great.

    Excellent check in receptionist

    Staff other than receptionist were poor. Breakfast was appalling. Food was left out to dry out and was inedible. Breakfast staff was particularly poor. Heating bed room was inadequate. No trouser press (very important for business travellers)

    Its situation for the Easterbrook Hall where we attended a wedding.

    Due to the amount of weddings the hotel was very busy and breakfast was very chaotic we were pushed into a room away along a lobby which was not properly set for breakfast and forgotten about. It was poor considering the cost of the hotel.

    Service at dinner on first night could have been improved. Had to ask twice for water with meal. Service was slow and staff indifferent.

    "From the moment of check in, which was handled very professionally and in a courteous manner by the receptionist, to check out I was very pleased with the stay.     "The initial checking in process was very smooth, despite the large amount of wedding guests that were arriving. The room itself was very clean, modern and spacious, and had more than adequate facilities. The only downside was that on the first night, with the large amount of guests staying for a wedding, the bar was rather full as there was not a huge amount of room. The booking process online was quick and easy, and overall the stay was enjoyable with no problems." (97913674)

    "As a regular business traveller I must say that this is the best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Everything was clean, looked new and in working order. The staff cannot do enough for you and the food is excellent, especially the breakfast! The hotel is a little out of town in nice surroundings - that is why I chose the Aston.     Standard of rooms very high, and the quality of fixtures and fittings very good. The overall setting and the refurbishment of the older element of building and the connection into the new block very well done. Overall good hotel accommodation.

    This was my 2nd time in the hotel, and on both ocassions I have found the food service lacking. The first time I stayed all solo travellers were set up in a row for our meal - which made us look as though we were observing all the other diners! The second time I ate in the bar; food was delivered in a hasty manner and with no condiments. Staff were so rushed that I never got the chance to ask for any before I finished my meal. This aspect of the hotel needs to improve as it is really letting the whole experience down.

    Very clean and pleasing to the eye. Everything worked. Comfortable bed, and nice and quiet

    Nothing about the accomodation failed to live up to expectations. However on checking in I had to wait ten minutes before any staff appeared. When they appeared they had to inform me they had been to the loo.......... Too much information.
