    "Great hotel, though arrived late and left early so couldnt judge food" (108955387)

    Really big room, spacious and clean

    Food stopped at 9pm, arriving late had to go to pizza place next door

    very nice staff clean, new bathroom internet facility in room

    My personal adapter did not work so I could not use my laptop in the room. The computer in the lobby did not work. However, if my adapter had worked, the in-room internet facility would have been perfect.

    Thought the restaurant was expensive

    Nice helpful staff, room very clean, swim ming pool and facilities excellent.

    We found the bed to be very hard, so softness and no "give" in the mattress. The quilt was over heavy and the pillows were hard, lumpy and very uncomfortable. I have (slightly) arthritic hips and slept very badly. I would have expected better quality beds in a hotel of this type.

    hotel was excellent throughout with great leisure facillities... staff were very friendly and food in the restaraunt was superb..

    poor receiption for mobile phones throughout the hotel..

    "My wife's main course (salmon) included Champ which tasted dreadful as something in it was sour. I asked for a portion of Champ with my meal (Cod) and the Champ tasted dreadful also. The Cod and remainder of meal was good. As we were in a hurry on the Saturday night we didn't have the time to complain to the manageress about the poor quality of the food & service provided."     The room accomodation was excellent together with the Reception staff. The hotel was very nice and well laid out.

    The service in the resturaunt was very poor. The starter my wife asked for was a parma ham salad & when delivered there was no ham on it. I asked for a glass of water 3 times for my meal but it never arrived.

    the bar was very uo to date. the leisure centre was excellent. no complaints at all in fact. we emensley enjoyedour stay as we have family living not to far away and were visiting. staff were very friendly and mannerly. we loved it all.

    we do think the price of our stay should have included breakfast. that was a bit disappointing. however it was very tast.

    "Restaurant staff not interested in their clients. Spent most of the time talking to each other. Scrambled eggs when they arrived were good. Check in was poor as staff not familiar with the systems. Previous guests in the room had left 2 pairs of trousers which had not been picked up by housekeeping. Nothing that a good manager could not sort out - imagine a year will make a tremendous difference. Concerned about the amount of glass and the potential for accidents." (3304932163)
