    Ontbijt was uitgebreid. Kamer werd elke dag schoongemaakt en kregen dagelijks schone handdoeken.Eigen toilet en bad, tv. Hotel ligt dichtbij het centrum en in een goede wijk. Openbaar vervoer heel dichtbij.

    Kamer was niet erg ruim, vloer kraakt erg. Slot op de deur is een beetje gammel.

    Location - great to be able to walk back from our theatre night out. Staff very efficient, welcoming and happy to help. Breakfast freshly cooked - good choice.

    I was in room 14 - all night there was a door constantly banging as it had no closer/arrester on it. Probably a staff door but not condusive to unintruppted sleep!

    nice having fruit and fresh coffee on arrival staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout useful to leave car in car park following day close to areas of Bristol we wanted to visit

    hotel could do with freshening up very warm in the rooms - had to leave window open all night light over bed was too bright and lamp shade was loose

    "This is a good hotel. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were attentive. Perhaps the rooms (particularly the carpets) could be a little cleaner, but overall this is a decent place to spend a night or two, and I'd consider staying here again. " (108310836)

    Receptionists were polite. Could leave the car on the car park so I could run the half marathon without having to worry about finding somewhere to park. Secure(ish) parking.

    Different prices when phoning compared to the Internet, and different prices AGAIN if you phone a second time. Shared bathroom is dire and dirty. Sink in room was dirty. Breakfast was too late in the morning for visitors intending to run the half marathon so I had to buy my own from a supermarket. Have to pay to park as a guest at the hotel. Doors on rooms slam shut.

    Helpful, pleasant staff. Good location. Fresh fruit in room. Good supply of tea and coffee (inc. filter coffee!)

    Room clean, though rather shabby. No shampoo. Hotel rather . . . tired, and in need of sprucing up.

    Close to University and on a direct bus route to the centre. Very good breakfast.

    Very noisy from road outside. No double glazing. Door lock loose. Having to pay to park in rear courtyard not good.

    "We stayed here for one night as it is very close to Bristol University's Anson Rooms, where we were going to see PJ Harvey & John Parish. We would definitely stay here again. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the breakfast was excellent." (107570759)

    Good value, basic accommodation. The hospitality tray was very good and included a fruit bowl and cafetierre as well as the usual teas, coffee and biscuits. The reception staff were very friendly and the service at breakfast was very good too.

    I cost six pounds to use the car park but I think that's usual for Bristol.

    Thin walls!! Obvious smell in room that suggested that it had been a smoking room at some point in the past (carpets need to be cleaned / changed, walls and ceiling painted to remove this smell). Found a very long hair in the filter coffee Shower tray very loose

    "This is a get what you pay for hotel, it was about £30 cheaper than the other central hotel in Basingstoke and it was fine for the one night I stayed there. I didn't notice that it cost £6 to park in their car park though, as this doesn't seem to appear on the website." (107568164)

    Check in and out was good and the receptionist was very helpful. The bowl of fruit was a nice touch too. Essentially everything in the room worked, plenty of hot water, light and heat etc.

    My bed was on a slant, so whilst I was delighted to have a smoking room I did need to take care not to roll off the bed as I was enjoying my cigarette! This is an old hotel and 3*, so there was rust on the radiators, some fairly unpleasant 70's decoration in the bathroom and overall the room was old, tired and basic. As above, was delighted to hind a hotel with a smoking room, however it was up four flights of stairs, along a long corridor and then down another flight of stairs - once in my room I needed an oxygen mask rather than a cigarette!

    The room was clean tidy. There was a bowl of fruit and tea/coffee making equipment. The room has a TV with Sky Sports and the breakfast very good and promptly served. There is also a 24 hour reception

    The bathroom had no shampoo, tooth brush or toothpaste
