"Location and rooms are lovely and very peaceful setting. Cannot comment on dining expoerience as we had to go elsewhere on first night as kitchen was not functioning and as there was both a wedding and golf dinner in the hotel on 2nd night we went elsewhere too. Drinks seemed quite expensive " (107573162)
Beautiful location; very comfortable room with lovely views.
Very slow bar service; kitchen out of order on first night. poor breakfast selection and impossible service - some of the staff were not v. friendly. Only one poor guy RUNNING around the dining room trying to get drinks for everyone. No croissants or pain au raisin etc.

Rooms were excellent , mattress & bedding were fist class.
Indoor pool would have been nice, would have occupied the kids.

The location of the hotel, the decor and cleanliness and facilities were excellent. The view from our bedroom window was beautiful. The staff could not have been more welcomimg and helpful. The standard of the cuisine was wonderful.
A very minor criticism - the menu was the same for dinner each evening of our stay - but the food was wonderful

"brilliant staff, clean, big rooms, big bath, when something wrong with toilet a member of staff was up within 2 mins to sort it, really recommend this hotel, will be back and resturant absolutely amazing food and service!!!!!" (108327021)
great staff, very helpful and brilliant english, thank you, asked for directions to calais and night manager got us to follow him all the way couldn't been more helpful.
when we checked in, we asked about evening meal only to be told that the restaurant was fully booked, after travelling 10hrs this wasn't good news, their should be notes about this when booking your room!!! As i've written before the staff were so helpful that we were squeezed in later, but as residents we should automatic seats in resturant as hotel in middle of no where.
