    Location and helpfulness of staff

    It was let down rather by the breakfast. Presentation and cleanliness were fine but the quality of the materials used were so obviously low quality. I felt embarrassed as an English person that a hotel should present this fare as a continental breakfast to travellers from overseas...it only serves to reinforce the national stereotype that our ability to provide reasonable food is endemic. I would definately use and recommend this hotel if the breakfast issue was addressed

    Clean, smelt fresh. Well located.

    Impersonal. We stayed in a 'King's room', but it was only a very small, basic room with a huge comfortable bed. The room decor and atmosphere does not do justice to the name.

    The reception area very pleasant and staff were all very helpful and curtious

    Having to to pay £1 per suitcase for the hotel to look after them after check out! It cheapen the overall experience and makes it look like the Hotel is penny pinching (similiar to Ryan Air wanting to charge every little extra!) This facility should be part and parcel of the whole stay and found this annoying! - I have stayed in many hotels and never has one of them ever made such a charge. During breakfast, the staff seemed to be struggleing to keep up with demand at peak times! certain food selections were running out and not being replenished quickly enough; there didn't appear to be enough staff. One minor point, I checked in after 2 and still had to wait a short while for my room to be completely prepped. (I did notice that a charge would be made if I were to book out late; after 11pm)

    "I would stay again in this hotel, but not as a single because the single room was very small. The price (85 pounds per night) was ok for the services the hotel provides. More than that price, it would be exaggeration." (107942275)

    Most of the staff was very gentle. The room was very clean.

    One person at the reception was rude. The breakfast was not good. The toilet of my room was very small and I could not open the window of the room.

    The breakfast was very good and the dining and livingroom very nice and clean.

    The staff didn´t smile at all. If you were 1 pound overweigh you would have truble in a bathroom this size.

    Friendly and professional staff. Comfortable, quiet romm, good size for London. Very nice tasty breakfast of high quality.(eggs varied day to day- scrambled or hard boiled, sausage, beans, mushrooms, yogurts, ham, cheese, cereals, juice, toast and a lovely expresso machine that delivered a varity of good coffee drinks) Wonderful!

    la camera veramente pulita,anche spaziosa rispetto lo standard di altri alberghi di pari livello ed inoltre la vista era sul prospetto principale ma assolutamente insonorizzata. efficace l'aria condizionata.il personale addetto alla reception disponibile ma distaccato.

    clean, good breakfast for continental, location to tube and our event location, near to shops/restaurants,

    bar man was on holiday so no bar but porter could get you a drink until 10.30 pm. check in slow, only one on reception, seemed to be short staffed. staff civil but not particularly friendly. noisy at night and noisy air con. rain came in window if left open so had to close and listen to air con. bathroom adequate but small.

    THe Hotl is central, and near to all the London attractions.The main entrance lobby was welcoming and staff pleasant.

    The BED, which is the most important comfort requirement was the most uncomfortable we have slept in during our frequent travels both in the U K and the U S. You must rectify this problem. The TV was poor, and would perhaps bother some people. For these reasons I would not stay again unless you assured me the beds were of a better quality.

    This was good location hotel, good hotel, good value for money.

    It will be good to know that room is on -1 level and very small.But we were enjoying in London and room was ok. Weather was very hot and think that for summer in -1 rooms air condition is not adequate.

    Accommodation was clean and had all the necessary facilities needed.

    The room size was rather small - however, it was a single occupancy room. A liitle more floor space would've been nice though.

    the overall ambience of the hotel was good, the staff was friendly and kind it was close to the events i need to attend

    no heating in the bedroom on first night, however that was rectified with an electric one, breakfast could be more appetising and more choice would have been good, cant believe you had no fresh fruits!!! that would be very useful as lots of people prefer fresh fruits instead of tin stuff!!yuk!!!

    Family room was a good size with 2 double beds rather than a put-up bed. The staff were friendly and helpful.

    Breakfast was a bit chaotic as it was a buffet and the hot food kept running out. Therefore breakfast took a little longer than we hoped.

    "The staff were very nice and helpful - not one, but EVERYONE we spoke with. They were able to recommend modes of travel, sites to visit, and food to try. We felt as if they were overjoyed to be serving us. Once we were standing in line to ask a simple question and one of the employees RAN to get behind the counter to help us. The room itself was plenty large. The sheets were clean white. We had a tea/coffee maker, hair dryer, refrigerator, safe, TV, hot water, air conditioning and heat. We also enjoyed being able to open our window to hear the sounds of the city. The continental breakfast was simple but plenty (and free)! They were willing to store our luggage with the cost being 1 GBP per piece. We were able to walk to the tube station (passing a grocery store and 2 nice restaurants) in about 3 minutes without even crossing the street." (97951960)

    We enjoyed the location, cleanliness, quietness, and staff.

    We would have liked to have been able to leave our luggage in storage for the few hours after check-out for free. The cost was also pretty high, but prices are just high in general in the UK.

    The general ambience was very pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful.

    My bedroom was in the basement, therefore even during daylight hours the amount of daylight coming into the room was negligible.

    The Cleanliness of my room

    My room was very hot even without the radiator being on The breakfast buffet was very basic, I would off liked to have seen some fresh fruit not tinned. Breakfast was not served until 8am on Sundays, that meant I had to rush my breakfast as my meeting started at 9am.
