    bedden waren goed

    de kwaliteit van het ontbijt was slecht: bacon and sausage waren van mindere kwaliteit. Jam uit grote potten waar nauwelijks iets in zat.

    Elke dag bedden opgemaakt en sanitiar schoon en om de dag schone handdoeken.

    Veel herrie als er water werd gebruikt bij toilet,douche en wastafel. Onder de wastafel bevond zich een buizensysteem en een pomp(zictbaar) die dan met veel herrie aansloeg. Ook bij watergebruik van de belendede kamer was dit hoorbaar. Ontbijt was iets te eenzijdig. Na negen dagen bacon en eggs, beans en worstje verlang je wel eens naar wat anders. Alleen maar zoet beleg geen kaas/ham (wel als je erom vroeg, stond er niet standaard). Maar dat is een persoonlijke smaak/keuze.

    The staff was very helpful with the city and details on how and where to go. Always very cheerful in the morning at breakfast.

    Credit card machine was tempremental. Difficult to find (advised to get directions before you leave for edinburgh.)

    Very personable. It was a welcome place to stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a B&B.

    No air conditioning or even a fan. It was very hot and uncomfortable. No elevator.

    The reception really bad: a man waiting for us stayed 2minutes maxi at our arrival; very poor contact in a guest house....; a room so noisy facing the main street despite of my reservation on Internet one week before; facilities in the room and at breakfast so poor also!

    "Coffee/tea tray with kettle, easily reached by bus, the street is lined with other B&B's, an Indian restaurant nearby, while pubs, shops and chippies are further away and hard to guess where - a map of nearby services in the room or hallway could be a useful" (97430313)

    "Really first class for cleanliness. Breakfast was good and filling. Although there was no parking at the front of the hotel, except Saturday and Sunday, there was adequate parking down a side street at the side of the hotel. Also the hotel was on a main road with an exceptional amount of buses passing by into Edinburgh City. Well worth the money. Friendly landlady who was most obliging and willing to help you as much as she could." (97290832)

    Friendly people. Absolutely spotless and spacious. Good breakfast. On bus route into City.

    No parking at hotel, although there was parking down a side street it was a bit of a fag packing up to leave for home but perhaps I am just bit lazy.

    "I wasn't sure if this location would be in a nice neighborhood or close to economical transportation. However it was located in a great neighborhood with a bus stop less than a block away with buses going directly to the city center. The room itself was very pleasant and the shared shower room was always well maintained. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others either traveling solo or as a couple."     The room was large and fine for four persons.

    The room was not especially clean. It was rather dusty. The bin in the toilet was not emty when we got to the hotel and is was not emtied before we left two days later. The cups in the room was not changed after the first day. There was no where to place the towels in order for them to dry until next morning. They were placed on the radiator which was cold.

    The attention to detail. The towels were all presented in a most artistic way, as was the napkins at breakfast. Very nice.

    The cable for the kettle was on the short side, which made me a bit wary.

    Einzelzimmer hatten keine Dusche, nur auf dem Flur, dort gab es nur eine einzelne auf jeder Etage sowie ein WC.
