    The staff were from differnt culture backgrounds.

    Very old hotel. Some of chairs in the restaurant were not in good looking condition. you can know that from the corridaors as well.

    apparently, when checking in with a trainee with only reasonable english spoken we were informed that our debit card " had been refused when paying for room 10 months earlier when booking the room, abd would need our debit card again ". I was amazed that noone sought to inform us over all this time, even though they had my telephone number and my email address. Not amused after travelling for 20 hours.

    One reception staff on for checking out at 9am whose English was very, very poor. 8 people waiting to check out at that time and had to wait over an hour to do so. Very poor service.

    hotel very cold! Poor portions of food in relation to cost. Poor English of some staff made communication difficult and embarrasing asking staff to repeat. Hotel corridors very shabby.

    web site advised of free bus to heathrow terminal which we used each day for underground to London. Shuttle by hotels too expensive. Appreciated the info

    Got a faulty thermostat at 50 yrs old and would have liked to be able to turn the roon down to lower temp. Bed also had some degree of roll together. You were too expensive on the food available at hotel

    The hotel was clean and comfortable. The rooms where nice and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. The conference centre was good and had everything that we required.

    The front desk staff upon check in where a little bit cold and seemed reticent to help or raise a smile. All other staff where very pleasant and helpful.

    Arrogance at check by receptionist. Gratuities paid on bills go to hotel and not to serving staff.

    They charge GBP 15 for Internet and charge for it even at the lobby or GBP 3 for a soda at the minibar. In my opinion this causes nobody but corporate clients consuming

    The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was crisp and fresh.

    It was very misleading to say that the use of the computer to print out boarding passes was complimentary. Complimentary to me means FREE not $10.00 and we made a mistake while printing it out so the whole experience ended up costing us $20.00. I am more accustomed to this being free in hotels.
